I decided to come around to my dreams

Grasping at fragments of you

But only with time you were leaving

Taken away with other precious people

I remember my dearest friend's gaze when he met mine

Only devastation rained down

Knowing I'd be without you

I act like you're dead

When you'll always be a part of me

You were something to me

I thought I'd be better dead than to confess

"I decided to come around after these crazy dreams"

"...ask how she's doing and to thank her for the year and ask where she'll be"

"I got the answer we feared- she'll be going..."

"...thinking of her- damn right I'll be thinking about you if you constantly appear in my dreams and making things strange"

But I stayed

"I act like they're dead but they'll always be here- and I must remind myself we'll all be together again soon in our end"

I missed my mother

I missed her smile

I missed my life

I'm glad I sat myself down

I thought more than twice

I confess

"But how do you express love for someone who won't even want you?"

In my dreams

 "I will never forget the time that was before"

But I wish I could

"I will miss the old days, but in those new days to come we can relive what once was!"

I will never go back

"And I will forever wait"

Until at rest
