"I'm quitting."
Silence echoes as the once-promising figure skate holds out his skates. The crystal-clear blades dance and sparkle against the glass floor, painting a harsh mirror of the young skater. To be honest, he wasn't really the type for sentimentality and that stayed true and perhaps even more so when he wasn't very amused at the shock and lack of response from his coach.
He shakes out the boots and the harsh rattling noise of heels clanking together, and the thick white fabric of the shoes create a stark friction that forces his coach to say what he'd been dreading.
"But why?"

"Which colour do think looks better?" Jay asks, holding the cotton fabrics up to his chest and pursing his lips as he waves them around in front of the mirror and then back at Sunoo.
"Maybe the-the blue one."
It was clear skies all day, or so they assumed, as bright streaks of golden light draped and scattered across the furniture. The warmth filtering through their windows and spring made itself comfortable on the grey couch Sunoo was currently occupied. He was engrossed in something, deep in thought whilst his best friend contemplated his decision for the nth time this hour and Sunoo eventually realised that there was no point in arguing with the fashion designer and he supposed he was the same with his own craft.
Singing made him feel alive and he assumed Jay felt the same about designing clothes - how could you not?
"But don't you think the blue makes it look a little... I dunno," he ponders before swivelling to face Sunoo, "frumpy?" Jay tilts his head to the side as a pout forms on his lips. His not so quiet cry of help echoes throughout the room.
"I don't have enough time or materials for this," he mutters to himself when the matching grey chair cushions his fall.
Their shared house contained only the pair of them, and Sunoo supposed that was enough to occupy the place without driving them insane. It was an odd Tuesday where seemingly everyone else had a place to be, besides the two young men who were too busy figuring out the details of the upcoming week and what it was they were meant to be getting on with - Jay quickly making edits to his new line of clothes and Sunoo responding to his comments on his latest music video.
The song had charted surprisingly quickly - the first of his releases to hit the top 50 list within a week of publishing and Sunoo was ecstatic to say the least because for a moment it felt like his life was finally heading in the direction he had been working towards.
