"You look like a criminal," Sunoo states bluntly as the two exit the café shop, coffee in hand as they rest against the exterior as a meek attempt to cool off - perhaps coffee wasn't the best idea in retrospect, but nonetheless at least Sunoo's plan was working somehow.
"What are you then?" Sunghoon's fleeting smirk comes into view when he pulls his drink away from his lips. "The drug dealer?" his dark shades slip down his nose, letting his teasing gaze infiltrate Sunoo's thoughts.
Turning away quickly, the rising heat that stains his cheeks an unflattering red forces him to speak. "I was thinking more victim but-"
Sunghoon barely misses choking on his coffee at Sunoo's retort and the large reaction doesn't seem to impress the younger. "You're the victim?" his thin dark eyes travel against the length of his face and Sunoo is forced to nod stiffly, "aren't you the one making me do this whole skating thing or whatever,"
His voice is airy, brittle and muffled - all things that Sunoo had disassociated with Sunghoon. When he saw those peeling eyes and the way his heart quaked, and breath quickened that must've been an affect from the past because those eyes didn't hold any weight anymore. That spark - it was all gone.
"I just want you to be happy Hoon," Sunoo grins from ear to ear as he takes a grand swig of his coffee, eyes shut and all as he indulges because God knows Sunghoon didn't take his answer very well.
"I don't understand you," he merely mutters.
"I mean you aren't really giving me a chance," Sunoo grips the cup in his hand tighter and whirls around to eye Sunghoon, "are you?" he raises a brow.
"You know what I want?" Sunghoon interjects and gracefully dances around his question without much of an effort, "to not do this at all," he spits out bitterly but thankfully his 'sugary' black coffee is enough to balance out the spite.
"Then why are you doing it?"
"Cuz I care about my friend," The words flow so easily from Sunghoon's lips, as if he'd been rehearsing them for this exact moment.
"You're so difficult - y'know that?" Sunoo lets an uncalled-for retort slip past, but all Sunghoon does is scoff.
"Then why are you doing this?" Silence invades there bubbling argument. "Exactly-"
"I'm doing it because I care," he suddenly cuts in before Sunghoon can sneer his nose as a sign that he had won but all he does is scoff, again, nearly choking on his drink - did he have a problem or something?
"Y'know if you cared about me you'd be doing the exact oppo-"
"I never said I cared about you," Sunoo bites down hard on his cheek.
Sunghoon grins and shakes his head, "Whatever man," he chuckles to himself as he tosses his coffee cup into the bin, "So are we going to do this or not?" his vision lingers on Sunoo before flickering between the skating rink and him.

"Hurry up then!" Sunghoon calls out before brazenly pushing open the double doors he hadn't faced in what felt like-no in years and it was only then that a sudden rush of fear and nerves collapsed over him, hand shaking carefully but the door was already open.
