"And so, then I asked him to dance with me since he had done all of that-"
"The cliché?" Heeseung chuckles, nudging Sunghoon's side who furrows his brows. "Dancing in the rain?"
"Yeah, yeah something like that," Sunghoon brushes off his comment with his hand and Heeseung juts out his chin for the younger to continue. "Anyways, I was right there, and I fucking blew it-"
"How did you manage to do that?" Heeseung grabs his shoulder, pulling him back onto the sofa, shaking him around like a doll and for once Sunghoon tries to resist.
"I couldn't hold him tight-"
"Sunghoon!" Heeseung exclaims, laughing quietly to himself as he pats his friend's shoulder with a coy grin. "You need to ask, Hoon, ask-"
"Can you let me finish?" Sunghoon grumbles, pushing the older away from his side, "He noticed and said that it's fine, I can hold him properly and then we just danced and talked forever until I realised how soaked my hair was which is why it currently looks like this," he points to the top of his head, a hair mask still cast over his dark matted hair.
"Yeah, I was gonna ask," Heeseung teases and Sunghoon merely rolls his eyes though his giddy grin is hard to hide.
"I just wonder why he did all of that," Sunghoon mutters more to himself than Heeseung as he stares into Heeseung's reflective coffee table, "for me... what did I even do to deserve that?"
"You made him fall in love, silly guy!" Heeseung practically attacks his side, throwing him over the side of the sofa's arm but Sunghoon's too weak with feelings to retaliate, and instead he lays rolled over until he slips back into his original position.
Sunghoon sighs, leaning back in the sofa with a sort of content smile that placates against his warm lips. He shuts his eyes for a second but instead of Heeseung exasperating something, it was his head.
"Wait," Sunghoon practically pounces up as if he had some sort of elation which takes Heeseung off guard. "I forgot to tell you,"
Heeseung takes a second to examine the younger expression which seems to muddle between confusion and excitement so clearly this wasn't about Sunoo since his face wasn't all scrunched up and smiley. "Go on."
"Riki finally came clean." Sunghoon's eyes widen, nodding slowly as he watches Heeseung's dimly lit face mould into something unreadable.
"Wait... I this-"
"Yeah, he told me he wanted to know where you were so I asked why and then he said he needed to tell us something," Sunghoon's smile slowly curls into a grin when Heeseung finally believes him, "so naturally I scared him by saying should I call you and he said no, blah blah, so I trapped him by taking him on a walk with me-"
"And?" Heeseung cuts in, practically standing up as he draws out his words though Sunghoon pushes him back down onto the sofa.
"Can you let me finish?" Sunghoon groans though as soon as he starts speaking that coy grin springs back onto his lips. "So, then I said I know what you want to tell us, so I said you seeing someone and he was like yeah but-"
"So, you told him that you knew he was seeing Jake?" Heeseung buts in once again, apologising profusely when Sunghoon furrows his brows at him for the last time.
"He was all shocked and stuff saying how I knew, and I explained enough for him," Sunghoon waves his hands around and doesn't pay much attention to Heeseung who nods quietly. "He was worried that I would be mad or upset at him, but I just told him I had only known him when we were teenagers and people can change a lot from then,"
