The road to Senderos Verdes was slow and tedious. Ghost was in the front, accompanying the deer on its journey while the rest traveled behind. The wounded beetle now occupied much of the cart, and only his weaver wife and daughter were allowed to accompany him. Although it took at least half a day to regain consciousness. The rest went on foot after the cart.

According to the ghost's calculations, it would take about four days to reach the city, so it was better to rest at night and avoid the dangerous and dark passages. So, on the side of the road, they set up camp with a small bonfire right in the center, where the insects gathered to shelter from the cold of the night.

—Where have they gone? - Asked the weaver.

—The warrior left not long ago, he didn't say what he was going to do. But the one in red said she was going to hunt something. —Commented the old beetle.

—Do we still have food left? —

- Yeah. Some grain and some legumes. —

- Well. Something better than nothing. I'll start preparing something. —

The last member of the group was a grid, who did not stand out much among the rest of the members. She stood up and walked towards the cart, where the family was taking care of the injured beetle, which was still lying on the ground, while his weaver wife caressed the head of the little infant who was lying asleep on her lap.

—How are they? —The cricket asked in a low voice.

— Tired. But they will be fine. —

— I'm going to prepare something to eat, I'll let you know when it's ready. —

—Thank you Suru. —

—It's the least I can do, Rena. Remi did his best to defend us. —

—This big head. When he wakes up he won't be spared a good scolding. —

- He he. Don't be so rude to him. Oh look. It seems the other two have already arrived. I'll let you know in a while. —

- Alright. Thank you. —

And so, the grid got out of the cart with various foods in his hands and some pots, which he placed near the fire, at the same time that Ghost and Hornet returned from their hunt.

The weaver in red brought with her two tiktik that she had hunted, which were quite uninteresting prey for the group. Still, he couldn't compare to someone who lived seven years to hunt, and knew those places like the back of his hand. Ghost not only brought five tiktik among his prey, but he also carried some fruits and herbs that were edible. Knowledge that Hornet did not have. Even so, the weaver could not help but look at him with a certain reproach, when her pride as a hunter was defeated by that silent insect. Which Ghost couldn't have cared less about.

— Wow... What a good hunt. —The male weaver commented, although neither of them flinched in the slightest.

—That will be enough for the rest of the trip. Thanks to both. —Commented the old beetle.

—It's the least I can do to bring myself here. —

Hornet at least responded, which the same couldn't be said for Ghost. The ghost just went to the front, left his hunting and gathering near the grill that was preparing the pot to cook, and headed towards where the deer was, which was excited to see him approaching with several fruits in his hands.

It was strange to see such a ruthless warrior appear so noble before a beast of burden. Despite his imposing presence, Ghost was friendly to the road deer, offering him the pieces of fruit while scratching his head, which the road deer seemed to like.
