General Nosk, traitor to his people, was slowly approaching the warrior who had awakened his warrior spirit after so many years. It was a battle like he had not experienced in a long time, and his heart was beating strongly, while a huge smile of satisfaction, increasingly more pronounced, was drawn on his face as their fight became closer.
The Green Path warrior was capable of fighting alongside his scythe, despite only wielding small daggers. However, his skills and speed put Nosk in trouble on several occasions.
However, all that happiness was quickly replaced by feelings of disappointment, when carelessly, the warrior looked away to see his wounded companion. ¨How mediocre must a warrior be to look away in the middle of combat? In a duel to the death, only the present and the opponents matter. Everything around goes into the background. Insignificant. For this reason, his opponent now lay against the wall, with a hole dangerously close to his heart.¨ At least those were the thoughts that passed through the mind of a merciless being like him.
However, and despite everything. I had a certain appreciation for him. After all, it was thanks to that warrior that Nosk once again felt the heat of battle. Your body will once again be filled with adrenaline and your thirst for battle will finally be quenched. For this reason, I would give him a quick and painless death.
Nosk advanced steadily towards Ghost. The white weaver behind him was already condemned, and it was not his problem at all. He couldn't care less about what happened to Khan Hachi. However, the fact that the Green Path warrior was looking at that bastard despite her situation made anger take over the enormous arachnid.
¨Perhaps, I had misjudged that warrior's mettle. And he was just a pathetic worm like the rest. Looking at an already dead trash instead of facing death by looking it in the eyes. What a disappointment.¨
Nosk finally stopped in front of Ghost, who hadn't even deigned to look at him in all that time. His eyes were only focused on Hachi, who was about to be killed by the masked weavers who had finally overtaken her. Nosk raised his scythe, a sneer escaping his face. One that in the end, only translated as the disappointment he felt.
The earth shook, time itself suffered a rupture. Nosk had his back turned, and he could only feel how the ground under his feet trembled before the figure that had appeared behind him, while he could listen with satisfaction to its angry roar. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was... Because it was a cry of anger, in his ears it resonated like a melody that brought echoes of a glorious past.
The arachnid's stupor was so great that a huge smile of satisfaction once again appeared on his face, while his scythe, previously raised to decapitate its speaker, now slowly lowered to rest on the side of its body. Only then did he slowly turn around to gaze gloriously at that figure he had admired for so many years in the past.
