| THE WIZARD OF THE GOLDEN AGE

CASSIA was seated on the couch of the library in the castle, her sight focused on a book that she had found on one of the shelves — a random book that she caught on the first look. She flipped through the pages, not actually reading.

The knock on the door made the ear of Cassia perk up. "Come in."

"Your Highness, you have a visitor." One of the maids was at the door with her hands in front of her. From behind her appeared the wizard that the girl knew very well.

"Thank you." Cassia stood up from her spot on the couch, the maid giving her a nod before leaving the library. "Salos."

"Cassia." Salos' deep voice greets Cassia, who stands in front of him.

She wore a dark green medieval dress, the lengthy sleeves falling from her arms, and her tiara that was created in silver flowers and green leaves rested on top of her head, wavy hair down.

"It's finally good to see you." Cassia gently smiled at the wizard in front of her, whose face made an effort to remain nothing but serious, but she could see the least of smiles creep upon his lips.

"It's good to see you too." Spoke Salos, keeping his gaze on Cassia. "Though I would love to stay, you know why I'm here for."

"Yes, of course." Cassia knew he referred to the small conversation that they had pending.

Salos carried a small case, in there he held potions and creams, anything he could use, the wizard moved over to a small table that was feet away from the couch, placing it on the surface.

"So I see you met someone who woke up a deeper source in your magic." Salos kept his focus on the case as he opened it, Cassia nodded but acknowledged he couldn't see her.

"Yeah, but — how'd — how'd you know?" The girl hadn't told him specifically that she had met someone. As she remembered she asked him if he knew why eyes glow.

"Darling, I'm a wizard. I know things." His dark cloak moved with him as he turned his complexion toward Cassia. "Where did you meet this person?"

Cassia swallowed, she couldn't tell him she met Harry on the Isle, so her best option was— "Auradon." Play it safe.

"I'm testing you here Cassia—" Pointed Salos. "—And you should know better than to lie to me. I'm looking at you, and I know it was not in Auradon."

"So you know where?" Cassia knew the answer, but she just wanted to hear the wizard say it.

"The Isle," Salos confirmed. "Pirate." Another correct. "And... You dreamed of him before meeting him." Okay, how was he doing all this?
