47 | CLOSER STEPS

FOLLOWING up the next day, the two love birds wouldn't stop smiling at the thought of each other. The honey continued to pour down their hearts, and it was constant daydreaming of the two.

The class periods felt as if they were only slower for Harry, and the ones that he had with the girl were the ones that would go by quickly. It was a burden for him.

Cassia felt the same way, but she was better at hiding than the pirate.

Lunch consisted of the two smiling at each other and sending a few glances, even looking at this was making the group look amazed. But they were happy that the two were finally moving forward with the situationship.

Elliot himself was having the time of his life not constantly telling the pair what to do. Though it did feel weird, not having to since it had become a usual daily routine. But even so, he was still happy for his two idiot friends.

And from what he had heard, Harry had mentioned he was supposed to hang out with Cassia later on during the day. Possibly another hang-out.

Or maybe they just want to shove their tongues down each other's throats.

Ugh, okay, Elliot.

The day moved forward like usual with boring classes, boring lectures, boring everything. By now everybody only wanted for the last period to end so they could go to their dorms, or hang out with their friends. Yet twenty minutes later, it did.

The halls exploded with AKs and VKs rushing out of their classes to leave Auradon Prep as fast as they could. The lack of fresh air was affecting their brains they needed to get out from what they considered their own jail.

"Agh, free at last." A groan fell from the son of Rapunzel's lips, not carrying about dropping his backpack on the grass.

The brunette let her bag fall next to his, allowing her eyes to roll after taking a seat next to him on the grass. The grass felt cold from the breeze that was blowing, only sending shivers through their bodies.

"You're always complaining." Answered Cassia, not like he was asking her something, but to his remark.

"Yeah, I hate school," Elliot added with sass. "You should know."

And she did in fact know, from the moment the pair met, Cassia noticed how miserable the boy looked on the first day of school. He had the same look painted on his face, annoyed and confused.
