46 | SEE THE LIGHT

FAR from sensing the jitters, Harry found himself positive about this date. He had everything ready, and simply the suspense of eventually seeing Cassia's face had him more enthusiastic — as if he already wasn't.

Elliot had departed the moment he saw them get close, thanking the Gods when he spotted them. The boy felt as if he was going to tumble into sleep at any moment, with his phone dead and not being able to eat the food. He was a dead man, the poor guy.

"You can open them." Harry had Cassia close her eyes when they arrived at the spot, and when she opened them, there she saw everything sparkle.

The blanket on the green dim grass from the lack of glow, candles that glimmered their yellow gush, foods, and red fruits everywhere. At the top of the hill where everything came off small but was visible to the sight.

"Harry, you did all of this?" Turning back to look at the pirate, her eyes flared with the stars in them.

"Yeh... Well, I had a bit of help." The nape of his neck became a victim of his scratch as he looked away with a nervous stare.

Cassia could already figure out who the help was. It wouldn't take her hours to conclude that he had called the son of Rapunzel to help him with all of this.

"Elliot." Her words came out more of a statement than a question. But Harry followed shortly. "And Evie." It left her surprised. "Evie?"

Indeed she was shocked because she would've waited for the girl to squeal out in excitement about what Harry had waiting for her. Though maybe the girl judged her a little too soon.

She merely gave it a soft nod and let it be. "Well, it turned out amazing. I love it."

Guiding her, Harry held Cassia's hand taking her to the blanket to sit down. The fruit awaiting caught her eye, a small smile appearing on her lips when she took the presence of the raspberries.

"You got raspberries." She grinned watching keenly.

"Yeh." Sitting down, he looked at the brunette ahead of him nodding. She felt happy he remembered such a small detail.

"Thank you, for all of this." Her eyes looked around with bloomingness on her face, perking up at the stars.

"Anything for yeh." Harry's sight fell on Cassia and how she peeked a the dark sky. "Oh, but I have another surprise."

Hearing this paused her gazing, her eyes turned to Harry's catching how he was already staring at her. "Another one?"

"Yeh, but that one is until later." He winked. It sent Cassia a wave of blush, rolling her eyes jokingly.
