17 | WHAT IS LOVE?

FOR Harry Hook, love was something that couldn't be described specifically, he knew family love, for his friends, and his sisters, but he wasn't sure he knew what actual love toward another person felt like. Nonetheless, every time the pirate looked at Cassia, he had an idea of what it could feel like.

"Do yeh think she likes it if I wear eyeliner?" The question Hook had just asked made the eyes of the daughter of Ursula widen with amusement.

Harry was never one to question his appearance, the boy knew he was attractive and he embodied it very well, everyone knew he did. Everybody on the Island knew that Harry was very good with the girls, and it was because of his looks.

"You're seriously asking that? You? Harry Hook?"  She inquired with a raised brow, this was something definitely not expected.

"It's a simple question." Though his answer was for Uma, Harry never removed his eyes off the brunette who sat a few benches away from the pirate trio.

"What does she even see in that golden retriever." Harry began, his eyebrows meeting in the middle as he watched how Cassia laughed at something Elliot did.

He wanted to be the one sitting with her and make her laugh with his jokes, not sit three tables away from each other and watch her laugh with someone else who wasn't him.

Harry hadn't noticed, but his hook had carved out wood, from the table from the force he had applied when staring at Cassia and Elliot.

"You're not being very subtle with that jealousy of yours." Uma popped a fresh cherry into her mouth. "And trust me when I tell you, snow girl over there, ain't interested in him."

This only made the pirate snap away from his bubble of staring at the girl, his eyes narrowed at what the daughter of Ursula had just proclaimed.

"And how would ya know?" He dared, looking at the girl with dark cyan hair.

"I'm a girl. That's how I know." She added smartly.

"Gil you wanna quit choking grapes and get with my program 'ere." Spoke Harry trying to get backed up by his friend, only the son of Gaston was too focused on his favorite fruit.

"Yeah, what Uma said." He agreed, mouth full of the juicy sweet fruit.

It made Harry think that Uma could be right, he was never one to second-guess her when she spoke. So, maybe he was being blinded by jealousy and yes, he had to admit that he didn't even know what their status was.
