"Morning!" Daphne called as she walked back in our room. Pansy was first to her, she pinned her against the door, wand under her chin.

"Oh you fucking bitch." I grabbed Pansy's shoulder and tried to pull her back.

"Pansy, let up." I ordered. She slowly stepped back, her wand still pointed at Daphne.

"What the fuck?" Daphne asked.

"Where'd you stay last night?" I asked.

"Wha-" She stopped as she saw the look I gave her. I wasn't angry, I was hurt. "I only did because you kissed Enzo."

"I only kissed Enzo because you were in his lap." Her face fell.

"I didn't know you saw that." I nodded.

"Get the fuck out, Daph. I'll put in for your room change." I told her. She grabbed her bag and left. Pansy gave me a look.

"You should've hit her." Pansy told me as she wrapped an arm around me. I laughed lightly.

"I should've."

"Who are we hitting?" Mattheo groaned awake from her bed. I sat on the edge.

"Daphne."

"Good. Why?"

"She stayed with Theo last night." Matty pinched the bridge of his nose and hummed.

"Mhm. Now, everything is fuzzy so I could be very wrong, but the last thing I remember seeing was you and Enzo pretty comfy on the couch." I laughed as he propped himself up on his elbows while laying on his stomach. He placed his chin in his hands with a smirk.

"Uh yeah," I replied. "yeah we- well, we did that out of spite." Matty laughed.

"Remember when he was so innocent and calm?" I rolled my eyes.

"We're bad influences." Pansy joked. I nodded.

"You lot certainly are."

"Welcome back to defense against the dark arts, I'm professor Lupin, but you know that already," Uncle Moony said, he flipped through the book in his hand. He looked up and looked around. "uh, thanks to a very gracious donor we've received a handful of books on mythical creatures for you all to use and study this year."

"Thank you Sirius Black." Cassie chimed in. We all laughed.

"Thank you, Cassie. For that, pass out these books. One a table," He handed the stack of books to Cassie. "With that being said your desk mate is your partner for the rest of the semester. We will reevaluate them at the end of the term, see how this is all going." Enzo nudged my arm. I smiled at him. Uncle Moony went on for a while longer until he dismissed us. Cassie looped her arm through mine. Mum's class was next, transfiguration. Werewolves, animagus, and spells to conjure things from thin air.

"Sit with someone from a different house, please!" Mum called. A rule of hers she always enforced. She was sick of house rivalries and wanted unity, Uncle James did a number on her in school. I looked around for Harry who was already sat with Luna. Next I looked for Ron who was with Cassie. I looked around for Hermione, who Pansy ran up and linked arms with. I groaned.

"Need a partner?" A familiar voice rang. I turned to see George. I laughed.

"You are too old for this class." I pointed out. He nodded.

"I am, but thanks to Freddie's poor performance last year, we're here again." He pointed to him sitting with Enzo. I laughed again.

"Desperate for a partner." I told him as he pulled a seat out for me. Fred and Enzo stood to come sit by up.
