aurora walks in, heart thrumming with excitement and looks up to find four beautiful women laughing and talking around the bar. "hello, my name is aurora but you can call me rory! you all look stunning, i am so excited to meet you guys!" i say, blushing with a laugh as they rush to greet me. "us? you look like princess!" says a beautiful brunette, who introduces herself as serena. they take turns gathering me in a hug, passing compliments and inviting me to sit with them. kaylor, a cheerful blonde, introduces herself next. i sit between leah and jana who are each inviting in their own right. with jana's infectious positivity and leah's confident ease, i settle in as the conversation starts up.
they take turns asking me questions, allowing me to relax into the group. "i am twenty two years old and from madison, georgia. my birthday is may 1st and i've only had one relationship. i love children and currently work at a daycare." the girls are all extremely welcoming, discussing details of their own lives and allowing us to bond over shared hobbies and experiences. as time goes on i find myself relaxing and sharing my own hopes for our summer in the villa. "physical type isn't very important to me, i definitely look more for personality. i'm not very experienced and i tend to be a bit shy, so i am hoping to find someone to help me open up. i am a true lover at heart and i want to find someone to love me back" i say, flushing as they coo at my answer. "you are seriously the most precious girl i've ever met" says leah as she pulls me into a warm hug. "you'll find your man" says serena, as jana adds "and we will make sure he treats you right, ro baby"
after passing hugs all around, we chat for a short while until it is time for the boys to enter the villa. anxiously, i grab kaylor's hand as we make our way to the fire pit. "it's alright sweet girl, you're going to have the best summer" says ariana, noticing my nerves. i stand tucked between kaylor and jana as we watch the boys come into view. "hey boys!" serena shouts as they make their way to the fire pit, introducing themselves.
they are each handsome in their own right, dazzling personalities on display as they walk around greeting each of us. my eyes catch on a tall brunette with the most stunning eyes, flushing, i find myself staring at the ground as he makes his way directly to me. i hold my breath as jana nudges me and his shoes come into view. "hi pretty girl, i'm rob. what's your name?" he asks, causing a shiver to rush down my spine. i look up to find him grinning, waiting for me to shake his hand. "h-hi rob. my name is aurora but you can call me rory" i stutter as i set my hand in his, noticing the vast difference in size. his grin becomes wider as he gently pulls me into a hug and then sits beside me.
"aurora is a fitting name, pretty girl. you look like a princess" he says, still holding my hand. "thank you" i respond, blushing as my gaze falls back to the ground, "you look very handsome yourself". he laughs, causing me to smile in response as he uses our joined hands to tip my face back up towards his. "c'mon rory, don't hide your face from me sweet girl. i want to see that smile" he whispers, causing my smile to grow, my dimples digging deeper as our eyes meet again. "that's a good girl, thank you rory". i swear my heart stops for a moment, our gazes locked until ariana's voice jolts me back to the present.
ariana introduces rob, asking him questions about his hopes for this summer in the villa, as opposed to his last experience with his time in casa. i watch as he speaks, intrigued by his honest and relatable answers. after their conversation is over, ariana wraps up, welcoming us once again on our journey to find love and cheering to an unforgettable summer. we all stand and raise our glasses, embracing each other with excitement and hope.
out of nowhere, fireworks started, causing me to startle and step backwards into a warm chest. a warm hand is wrapped around my waist as rob's voice settles my nerves, "it's alright sweet girl, it's only me". i find myself relaxing into him as we watch the fireworks together.
