i wake up the next morning as the lights turn on, nestled into rob's chest. my eyes blink rapidly, trying to adjust to the fluorescence as the girls come over to sit on our bed, surrounding us with loaded looks on their faces. "yes?", i whisper, my voice laced with sleep. "anything you need to tell us, rory?" leah asks, raising her eyebrows. i immediately know what she's referring to, i nod, giving rob a kiss before leaving the bedroom, the girls following.
we file into the beauty room, i head over to the vanity as the girls sit around it, waiting for me to speak. "we closed it off!" i squeal, the girls let out screams as they surround me, pulling me into a hug. they congratulate us, the energy in the room contagious as they break out into questions. "what happened? what did he say?" serena asks, her eyes shining with happiness as he gazes fondly over at me. "yeah! was he romantic, or did he just blurt it out?" kaylor asked, vibrating with energy as she impatient waits for the details. i take a deep breath, a flush covering my face as i remember the events of last night.
"we err, had a conversation beforehand. nothing specific and then he just blurted it out, really casual. and it wasn't even a question really, he said, i think we should close off. and i just said yes and that was it." i tell them, although some girls prefer big, showy gestures, i've never been the type that needed them. i prefer the quieter moments, when someone shows you through their everyday actions. "we knew you guys would be the first to close off" liv murmurs, brushing my curls off my face as she squeezes me close.
the room settles down, the girls deep in thought about the future of their own couples. a knock sounds at the door, all the guys file in, their hands full of plates and cups as they set breakfast down for everyone. miguel surprising us as he brings a plate to both jana and liv. we thank them, i pull rob closer as he sets a warm kiss on my lips. "thank you, baby" i whisper against his lips, he gives me a blinding smile before kissing me once more as he exits the room. i finish getting ready quickly, heading downstairs to do a quick yoga routine.
i stop by the kitchen first, filing up my water bottle as rob walks up to me. i lean into him, stretching up to give him a kiss as he asks what my plans are. "just gonna do a little yoga, try to settle myself some." i say, my voice light as i head towards the grass. he follows me, asking to join as he gets his own mat out. i start stretching, rolling out my limbs as i steady my breathing. i feel rob's eyes roaming over me, his focus on my movements as he gives up on his own workout. after a few minutes, i can practically hear the thoughts running through his head, "spit it out, robert."
"you look so good today, pretty girl" his voice is warm, thick with affection and lust. i blush slightly, tilting my head towards him as i say thank you, complimenting him as well. his eyes follow me through the rest of the routine, leaving a trail of sparks against my skin. i lose focus, his thoughts a tangible feeling as my body responds to his presence. i sit up, meeting his eyes as he motions for me to move closer. i lean towards him, holding my breath as he whispers in my ear, his words dirty as i giggle and pull away. he pulls me back towards him, setting my body in his lap as his hands lightly run across my skin.
we spend a few minutes wrapped in each other, still sprawled out on the yoga mats. "go to the pool with me?" he asks, his voice light as he stands and holds his hand out to me. i accept his hand, not expecting him to yank me up into his arms. i screech slightly, the movement jarring as he laughs, carrying me over to the water. i half expect him to throw me in, but i should have know better, he's never been anything short of a gentleman.
we spend a while swimming, enjoying the cool water soothing the balmy heat outside. eventually i swim over to him, wrapping my arms and legs around him as i pull his lips to mine. the kiss starts out sweet, gentle brushes of our lips before the tension between us snaps. rob's hands grip my ass, pulling me against him as our kiss speeds up. i thread my fingers through his hair, pulling slightly as his lips travel down my neck. he kisses over the light mark he made last night, a possessive look in his eyes as he pulls back to look at me. "mine" he speaks, the word needing no explanation as he meets my eyes. i nod with a smile, "mine too, huh?" he nods quickly, "i've been yours since the second i saw you, that's never going to change." the weight of his words settle over me, reassuring that he wants me as much as i want him.
eventually we leave the pool, drying off before heading to the kitchen. i make us a light snack, prepping some fruit as he leans against me, his grip warm against my hips. we head towards the daybeds, the girls gathered on them as they look out over the villa. as we near them, they give us bright smiles, shifting to make room for us as we sit next to them. "how are you guys doing?" i ask, snuggling into jana as i look around the group. they give me variations of good, commenting on their couples and conversations with the bombshell. we get up to get ready for the evening, tension erupting between leah and jana. i look between them, unsure of what i missed.
