i wake up to the lights flipping on, my eyes fluttering as i try to adjust to the offensive fluorescence. rob tips his face into my neck, letting out a sleepy groan. "morning baby" i coo, my hands gently running over his back, he mutters a drowsy greeting, sleep coating his deep voice. i lay with him for a few more minutes before i get up, heading out to find the other girls. i hear quiet conversations as i step into soul ties, surprised to find leah and jana had joined serena and kaylor. "good morning, how did you guys sleep?" they shrug slightly, kaylor sending me a bright smile, "it was okay, rory. thanks for checking on us." we chat for a few more minutes as they get up, deciding to meet downstairs in a few minutes.
i hurry into the bathroom, brushing my teeth and pulling my hair into a bun as i get ready. i get dressed in a light workout set, making my way downstairs to get all the mats laid out. i greet the casa boys, sending them a quick smile as the girls trickle down the steps. they settle around on the mats, stretching out their limbs and warming up. i lead them through an easy routine, speaking quietly as i try to help them relax their muscles and breathing. after we're finished we lay out under the sun, trying to prepare ourselves for whatever today brings. just as the thought crosses my mind, my phone vibrates, a text coming through only seconds later. i read the text, "islanders, to celebrate the 4th of july, the villa and casa amor will compete against each other in today's game. #independencespray #redwhiteandchew"
the challenge was disgusting, the girls and i barely keeping ourselves from getting sick. immediately after it's over we race upstairs, sharing the showers in an effort to rid ourselves of the feeling as soon as possible. "i'm glad we won, but that was legitimately the hardest thing i've ever done" leah mutters, disgust lacing her tone. we nod in agreement, trying to wipe the memories from our minds. after our showers we get ready for the evening, more than happy to have something else to focus on. i choose a purple sundress, the material fluttering against my legs as i walk. i slip on white boots, my cheeks flushing as the girls compliment me.

the boys are waiting for us at the bottom of the steps, rob's eyes lighting up as he takes in my outfit for tonight. his hand reaches out, gently pulling me against his chest. "you look stunning, little bird" his raspy voice sends flutters through my belly, my cheeks flushing in response. i compliment him in return, loving the genuine smile that tugs at his lips. we meet the other islanders for the toast, cheering as we clink our glasses together. rob and i settle on the couches as we watch the casa boys pull them for chats. "you think anyone will recouple?" rob asks, his tone completely sincere. i shake my head, "no, they're all really upset but i don't think they will. liv is single though, so she really has free choice." we discuss who she will most likely pair with, a quiet laugh leaving his lips when i mention caine. "i think he's funny" rob murmurs, my head nodding in agreement.
we spend a while in our little bubble, enjoying the privacy of these quiet moments together. "what do you think will happen once we leave the villa?" rob asks, his voice laced with genuine curiosity. i shrug slightly, "i think it will be an adjustment settling back into our lives, but i think we can do it. i can't wait to go back to work, i miss the babies so much." rob watches as i speak animatedly about the kids, his eyes shining with affection as he whispers, "you're beautiful." i smile brightly, my dimples flashing as i meet his warm gaze. "so are you" i whisper, a light blush coating his cheeks at my sweet words. we chat for a little while longer, the girls joining us eventually as we relax into our usual group. a chime rings out, silence coating the villa as kaylor's shaky voice reads out the text, "girls, you have been sent a story from casa amor."
the group explodes with hesitant murmurs, nerves evident in their voices as kaylor pulls up the video. my heart stops as kordell apprears on the screen with another girl, their conversation turning into a steamy kiss. i wince as the video changes to kordell and the girl dry humping in bed. i frantically look at serena, her hand dragging over her face as she tries to keep herself together. her shoulders are tight, tension radiating through her body. the girls try to soothe her, their platitudes falling on deaf ears. the video changes, showing aaron curled up with a girl, their flirty banter switching from english to spanish. the video zooms out, showing the other boys watching aaron's interactions and kendall making rude comments about kaylor and their relationship. kaylor bursts into tears as the video ends, liv and nicole following the blonde as she tries to recover from the hurt.
the casa boys watch them, their concerned gazes finding us as we wait for serena to have some type of reaction. she shakes her head rapidly, "he's got me so fucked up, honestly." she paces around, rob, leah, jana and i follow as we try to offer her support. eventually we end up joining the casa boys, their faces dripping with shock as serena relays what happened in the video. "if you think you bout to come back into this bitch and swindle me?" serena's voice cracks slightly, her head shaking as she leaves to find kaylor, desperate to rewatch the video. we follow, trying to soothe her as she and kaylor rewatch the video, calling iggy over to translate aaron's conversation. my head is spinning, rob gripping my hand desperately as we try to navigate through the reality of what's happening at casa.
