i wake up in a great mood, feeling lighter than i have in days. i head towards kaylor's bed, the other girls already sitting there. "morning, lovelies. how did you guys sleep?" i whisper, a sweet smile crossing my face. we chat for a little bit before we leave to get ready, heading to the bathroom first. we take turns in the shower, the room filling with the sweet smells of our soap and steam. after i get out i wrap my hair and body up, brushing my teeth and doing my skincare. once we're all done we head to the beauty room, getting dressed and settling at the vanity to start on our makeup.
shortly after, a knock sounds at the door, the guys bringing in our breakfast. i smile slightly as rob stops behind me, placing a gentle kiss on my head as he sets down my smoothie. "thank you baby" i murmur, my voice thick with affection as i smile up at him. he pulls me into a hot kiss, his tongue swiping against my bottom lip before he pulls away. "i'll see you in a little bit, enjoy your smoothie" he whispers, patting my hip as he exits with the other boys.
after we're all finished with breakfast, i do my hair, pinning the front pieces with a cute clip. i head over to jana, stoping slightly behind her as i wait for her to finish. when she looks up at me i smile brightly, my tone warm as i ask, "walk with me?" she nods, putting her stuff away before we head outside, enjoying the warm air as we make our way to the dock. i settle beside her, my head leaning against her shoulder as we watch the water. "i have a good feeling about today" i whisper, trying not to jinx us, but feeling certain i need to tell her about it.
she's quiet for a moment, her body relaxing as she whispers back, "me too, i was trying not to get my hopes up because the past few days have been so rough." i nod slightly, feeling both sad for her and awed by her mature reaction. "i'm so proud of you, honestly. you've held such grace when i don't know how i could have dealt with it." she flushes slightly, her infamous blinding smile covering her lips, "i'm just that bitch." i laugh slightly, "one hundred percent agree with you. these men aren't worthy" i tease, causing her to let out a pealing laugh.
we spend a bit longer on the docks, enjoying our time together before we head back to the villa. we settle with the other girls, falling into our usual flow of excited chatter as leah shouts, "look at aaron!" we look over, noticing him heading towards us with a charming grin as he carries a tray of drinks. "what is that?" serena asks as he passes out the cups. "it's orange juice" he replies softly, drawing coos out of each of us. "thank you, aaron" i say softly, my lips curled in a sweet grin.
we chat for a while about each couple, the girls sharing sweet moments between their boys. kaylor gushes over aaron, talking about how considerate and polite he is, how he treats her like a princess. liv confesses that she's a bit confused about miguel's intentions, that they don't really speak much. "maybe he just needs time to adjust, he's only been here for a little while" i say softly, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. she shakes her head slightly, irritation pinching her pretty face, "if that were the case i think he'd spend less time chatting it up with other girls." i don't really know how to comfort her, so i just squeeze her hand, providing silent support.
"how are you and robert doing?" serena asks, her eyes shinning with affection as the girls turn to look at me. i blush, my lips cracking into a bright smile, "we're doing good. we had a chat last night about where things are going after the villa. he was very sweet, talking about how we're gonna meet each other's families. he seems pretty serious about us, like longterm. i feel really good, he makes me feel very secure in our connection and now that we're closed off, i don't see how anything bad could happen."
the other girls talk about how well things are going, when we notice connor crawling under the furniture a few feet from us. "what is he doing?" i ask, my tone laced with confusion. he rolls across the ground, attempting to get closer when leah visibly shudders in disgust. "ask him if he wants to join us" jana says, her voice gentle as always. liv yells out, asking if he wants to come over here, the boys laughing wildly from across the villa. connor shakes his head, embarrassment coloring his cheeks as he declines. serena and nicole tease leah, "that's your man", the rest of us laughing along with them.
we separate, each of us relaxing as we settle into our normal routine when leah shouts that she received a text. "islanders, time to get glam as tonight the villa becomes your very own night club. #poppingbottles #dancethenightaway" the villa erupts in cheers, everyone filled with excitement about the event of the evening. the girls and i rush upstairs to get ready, chatting excitedly as we decide what we're going to wear.
