the girls and i change quickly, production giving out strappy, rave outfits. i change into the bright yellow colored set, pulling some of my hair into a bun as i braid the front pieces. we help each other put on face gems, dousing each other in body glitter. "you guys look awesome" i speak, my voice fluttering as i take in all the girls' final looks for the challenge. "so do you, tiny. rob's a lucky man." nicole coos, he voice teasing as she wraps her arm around me. after we're all done, we head downstairs to meet with production, getting instructions on the way to the challenge.
each couple will make their way through the festival. first stop, the mushroom field, after putting on dizzy goggles, one of us will direct the other to find a cupcake. then we head to the slushie stand, picking a drink and reading a statement from the burn menu. we must throw the drink in the faces of the couple we think the statement relates to. after all that, we have to search for the phone in the port-a potty, trudging through the slime to take a selfie. finally, we will share a kiss to seal the deal and our turn is over.
nicole and kendall are up first, nicole cursing as the goggles cause her to lose her balance. with kendall's help she finds the cupcake, bending down to lick it before he directs her to the mushroom. she grabs a piece of cake, feeding it to kendall as they head towards the slushie stand. i grip rob's hand tighter as kendall reads out the card, "which couple is most likely to burn another couple?" they speak quietly, my breath catching as they splash liv and miguel. i slip over to them, helping to clean off their faces. "thanks baby" liv responds, her face pulled in slight irritation.
leah and connor are up next, connor confusing her as she looks for the cupcake. leah grows tired of him, snapping, "shut the fuck up." the girls and i laugh as leah finds it without his help. the walk over to the drink, connor reading out their card, "which couple would you not want to be stranded on an island with?" they choose jana and hakeem, my mouth dropping open slightly at connor's audacity. when they look for the phone, leah ends up covered in slime.
next was kordell and serena, the girls and i cheering as she kneels and seductively licks the cupcake. they walk over to the drinks, a smile crossing serena's face as she reads out the card. "which couple is the most toxic?" they walk over, throwing the drink all over leah and connor. leah sputters, "what the fuck have we done?" irritation spikes in me as aaron instigates the situation, "why? i want to know why." serena shakes her head, "i feel like separately, they could be a little toxic. they like a little toxic. your speech?" serena turns, addressing connor at the end, "you threw some shade at my girl jana." "let him know girl" jana pipes up, smirking at the frown on connor's face.
we laugh as serena and kordell fall as they try to walk through the slime. "so, i have a question" leah starts, her voice loaded as she faces serena. i tuck myself closer to rob, unwilling to take part in the altercation about to occur. "you're my girl, what was that?" leah asks, serena nodding, "exactly, i'm your girl. i know you like that toxic shit." "so what about this shit, huh?" leah asks, gesturing between serena and kordell. serena refuses to rise to the bait, her voice level as she responds, "we're real." the other islanders ooh, looking between them as the tension rises. "alright ladies, let's get along, please" i interrupt, knowing things were getting heated as i tried to prevent something from being said that couldn't be taken back.
liv and miguel's turn was next, they find the cupcake quickly, i cheer as liv bends down to lick the frosting. they read out the card, "which couple is faking it until they make it?" liv takes both cups, walking directly to jana and hakeem. "not you baby" she tells jana as she splashes hakeem directly in the face. this causes another round of arguments, hakeem pissed that liv targeted him as they snap at each other.
kaylor and aaron head to take their turn. they have the hardest time so far, shouting at each other as they struggle to find the cupcake. eventually they do, walking towards the cups. aaron reads out their card, "which couple is going to burn out first?" i wince, my heart hurting for leah as kaylor and aaron splash her and connor. jana claps, irritating connor as he starts bitching again. kaylor tries to help the situation by explaining herself but all it does is add fuel to the flames. after a few more minutes of back and forth, it's finally rob and i's turn.
i put on the goggles, rob laughing as i stumble slightly before he directs me over to the cupcake. "be gentle" he teases, the other islanders cheering as i kneel down to lick the frosting. i find the cake, feeding some to rob as he sucks on my finger, my face flushing as heat floods my body. we walk to the cups, my pulse raising as i pick up the card. "which girl could do better than their current boy?" i read out, a smile crossing my face as rob and i make eye contact. i head towards leah, "love you" i say, dumping the cup down her chest.
we head to get the phone, both getting covered in slime in the process. rob picks me up, gripping my ass as i leave a sloppy kiss on his cheek, snapping the selfie. he carries me over, gently dropping down as he covers me with his body. i thread my fingers through his hair, pulling him towards me as i connect our lips. i vaguely hear the islanders cheer as our kiss heats up. i gasp as he wraps my legs around his hips, his pelvis grinding against mine as i trace his lips with my tongue. eventually we pull away, out of breath and smiling at each other. my dimples flash, cheeks flushing at the glazed look in his eyes. he helps me up, taking my hand as we head towards the other islanders.
jana looks at me with a teasing grin, playfully fanning her face as she and hakeem take their turn. hakeem leads her through maze quickly before they head to the drinks, a pep in their step. jana picks up the card, "which couple will burn the longest?" she smiles as they pick up the cups, heading to rob and i with cheesy grins. the other islanders cheer as they splash us, the drink sliding down our bodies. the finish the challenge, sharing a steamy kiss as we cheer for them. as we head back the villa, i catch up with leah and jana, grabbing their hands. "i love you" i say, my voice laced with sincerity as we leave the drama behind.

i'm gonna try to get through these next few chapters asap, i'm so excited for casa. i've been reading through your comments, i think i have a solid idea of what i'm going to do.
