as serena, jana and i arrive at the beauty room, the conversation quiets. pointedly ignoring andrea, i happily make my way to my chair, sitting down as i get ready for the day. she doesn't deserve any more of my energy, and i make it my mission to not allow her callous words to affect me any longer. i get dressed, choosing a pale blue and white bikini before doing my nails. after i'm ready, i kiss my girls on the cheek before making my way downstairs.
i say hello to aaron and kendall, filling up my water bottle before settling on the daybed. the girls soon make their way towards me, we sit back and watch as the guys work out. my eyes follow rob, the way his muscles contract as he moves and the sunlight flashing on his skin. the girls and i hype them up, cheering and shouting compliments as they show off for us. we laugh, teasing each other about how hot our guys are. when i make my way into the kitchen to refill my water, nicole walks up to me. she apologizes for andrea's actions and we share a warm hug before we walk off to chat.
i'm aware of several sets of eyes following us as we sit on the bean bags, relaxing under the sun as i start up the conversation. "how're you feeling in the villa? i know it's only been a couple of days, but do you have your eyes on anyone?" she smiles slightly, excitedly telling me about her conversations with kendall. as happy as i am for her, i worry for leah, not knowing her thoughts on kendall's split attention. i don't want to offend her, but i gently ask, "have you spoken to leah?" a pensive look crosses her face, "do you think i should?" she mumbles, glancing over to where leah is sitting. i nod, telling her honestly is always best. we chat for a little bit longer before rob catches my eye. nicole looks between us with a laugh before shooing me off.
i make my way towards him, a possessive look crosses his face as he watches me approach. "hi robby" i whisper, reaching up to give him a warm kiss. he responds immediately before tucking me under his shoulder, steering us towards the pool. we sit down by the edge, legs dangling in the water as we lookout over the villa. "nicole is interested in kendall" i tell him, slightly fishing for information. he frowns slightly, "he hasn't said anything. do you think leah knows they've been talking?" he asks quietly. i shake my head, "we've seen them talking, but none of us knew that she was really wanting to pursue him."
we sit by the pool for a while before getting up to chat with the girls. i sit on the daybeds next to them and rob sprawls out, laying his head in my lap. i gently run my fingers through his hair as i talk to leah. "have you spoken with nicole?" i ask her gently, she nods, her lips tightening into a slight scowl before she relaxes. "yeah" she says, voice laced with irritation, "she said that when it came down to it, he is the only person she could see a connection with. and it's like, i'm a big girl, if he wants to explore with her, kendall could have said that." i nod, wholeheartedly agreeing.
jana asks her if she could still see herself happy in a couple with kendall, "not really" she says, laughing slightly, "he's just so excited all the time. it's kinda giving me the ick" we laugh with her, kendall really is obnoxiously happy all the time. rob is trying to act like he's not listening, but i can feel his breathing pause when something new is brought up. i gesture down at him with a grin, serena cocking her eyebrow as she playfully scolds him, "you better not be running this shit to the boys, robert. this is supposed to be private." her voice lowering as she adds on, "just like what you and miss aurora were doing in the shower this morning."
i blush beet red, the girls cracking up as they ask for details. rob is no help, he can't wipe the smug grin off his face. "it's not a big deal, couples shower together all the time" i complain slightly, knowing their teasing is in good fun. "yeah, i bet you got real clean" liv taunts, the girls falling into another pit of laughter. i shove her lightly, digging my head into rob's body as he laughs along with them. "you're not supposed to be laughing, robert. they're talking about you too" i gripe, my irritated expression falling away as he coos and wraps his arms around me protectively.
the girls quiet down, looking across the villa as we see andrea storming away from connor. a puzzled expression crossing jana's face as she calls his name, gesturing for him to join us. when he sits down, she grabs his hand, "what was that about?" she asks, eyes narrowing in suspicion. connor shakes his head, "we were talking and it was all fine until she mentioned us coupling up. i told her politely i wasn't interested and she completely blew up" he trails off as he looks over to me, "i just wanted to let you know the guys have your back. the shit yesterday really opened our eyes, she shouldn't have spoken to you like that" i nod, thanking him quietly as rob runs a soothing hand down my legs.
as the afternoon draws to an end, the girls and i head upstairs to get ready for the night. the aura of the room is contagious as we laugh and joke, preforming try on hauls for each other and striking dramatic poses. we ignore andrea's sour mood, determined not to let her negative energy invade our moment.
