the girls and i talk as we get ready for the night, discussing how we feel about the boys answers and their attitude regarding the challenge. although rob handled it well, some of the answers from the other boys left the girls with concerns about their opinions. i change into a little yellow dress, putting on white heels with satin bows on the back. i put half my hair in a bun, leaving the rest of the curls to fall down my back. after the girls are all ready, we take pictures and walk downstairs to meet our boys.
rob is waiting at the bottom of the stairs, his eyes locked on me as i take his offered hand. "you look beautiful, rory" he tells me, "so do you" i respond sweetly. after dinner, gasps ring out in the villa as ariana walks in and asks us to head to the fire pit. the first recoupling is about to take place, the girls feeling the pressure, knowing they will be sending someone home. kaylor, serena, and i stick with our original couples. liv takes us by surprise as she shades leah before choosing to couple with hakeem. leah, however, pays her no mind as she and kendall are back together, both smiling and holding on to each other. jana is last to go, looking nervously between connor and coye.
after a tense wait, she decides to couple with connor, leaving coye single and dumped from the island. i don't know coye very well but i still say goodbye and wish him well, sad to see somebody leave so soon. the couples spilt up, relaxing for the rest of the night. rob and i are seated on the dock this time, resting with my back on his chest, i play with his hands as we watch the water. "tell me about you ex" he implores gently. i take a breath "we met in high school, there aren't many new people in town so i had known him for years. we were never really close until one day he approached me and asked me out for lunch. we were together for a few years, he was my first everything. we ended things about a year ago, i knew i wanted to settle down soon and start a family and he didn't agree. honestly it's for the best, i don't think we were a good fit." i tell him, still stroking his hands.
he's silent for a moment, digesting what i had just told him when i ask about his last relationship. he tells me about her, and what he wants for his life. we both look forward to getting married and having children sometime in the future, and for a second, i allow myself to picture it with rob by my side. i start to doze off, lulled by the gentle breeze and his body against mine. eventually, he carries me upstairs and helps me take my makeup off. i go to the bathroom to get cleaned up and change into pajamas. he carries me back to bed and tucks me in, kissing my head and quietly talking to the other islanders.

he cuddles me close to his chest, me straddling him as i quickly fall asleep. he stays up for a bit longer, running his hands up and down my back as he falls asleep with the rest of the villa. sometime during the night i wake up, the room silent as the other islanders sleep peacefully. i notice rob's grip locked on my hips as i start to move off of him. gently, i try to peel off his hands, not noticing him start to wake up. all of the sudden, his grip tightens, pulls my hips closer to his as he rubs me against him. i let out a gasp, my gaze whipping back to his face. he's watching me, repeating the action causing heat to flood my core, my pajamas growing damp against him. "is this okay birdie?" he asks, waiting for my answer (consent is cool, kids)
my hands find his chest, holding on to him as the sensations start to grow, my hips now rocking with his movements. he groans out "good girl, birdie. you feel so good, so warm" i bring the blanket up to cover us and lean down to kiss him. i moan into the kiss, grinding harder against him as we rise closer to our finish. "gonna come for me sweet girl?" he groans, thrusting his hips in time with my movements. i gasp as i ride out my release, shaking and whining into his hand, our eyes locked as he finds his own.
we lay together for a few minutes, before going to clean up and then head back to bed. he snuggles into me and within a few minutes we are both fast asleep.
