i'm in the middle of defusing my hair as the girls walk in, jana's eyes sparkling as she sits next to me. "so" i draw out the word, my dimples flashing as i watch jana playfully swoon. her voice is filled with excitement, "it was a good date. we were in the middle of the ocean, they gave us drinks and food, it was literally amazing." i beam, thrilled for her as she tells me all about their conversations. "so, you like him?" i ask, my voice filled with teasing as she sends me a blank look. "he's amazing, and he's like, built" her voice is soft, reminiscent of their day together. i pull her into a tight hug, my voice muffled against her chest, "i'm so happy for you, jana. you really deserve this."

we get ready for the evening, the room buzzing as the girls talk about their newest interests. "serena, how was your date? do you like him?" i ask, my voice gentle as she looks at me from across the vanity. she shrugs, "he was nice but i'm not feeling a spark really." i nod, accepting her words with an easy grin. after i finish getting ready, i make my way towards cassidy with a sweet smile. "ready for that tour yet?" i ask, my voice filled with warmth. she nods, putting her stuff away before she gets up to follow me. i show her around, stepping out onto the balcony and then taking her around the rest of the rooms upstairs. we then head downstairs, but she saw most of it last night.

we talk about her date with miguel, how much fun she had getting to know him. "he's a real charmer, but he can be very sweet. i'm glad you guys had a good time." she nods at my words, a light blush covering her cheeks as she reveals she is also interested in connor. i laugh, promising that the girls won't have a problem with her getting to know him. she brightens at that, deciding to pull him for a chat later on this evening. we meet up with the other islanders for tonight's toast, positive energy flowing through the villa. i cheer internally as the girls split off, pulling guys for private chats. jana and kenny head upstairs, stealing the attention of the other islanders.

rob and i sit with kordell and serena, our conversation filled with light hearted teasing and laughter. i drop my voice slightly, looking at serena, "did you see jana when she was talking about kenny?" she nods rapidly, "you should have seen them on the date, they couldn't keep their eyes off each other." i laugh, "i don't blame him, she's literally stunning."

rory/ beach hut:
"i'm loving the villa right now, all my girls are doing so well. leah is spending time with miguel, cassidy pulled connor for a chat. we've all been waiting on a good match for liv and jana, i think they're really liking the bombshells. kaylor, serena, nicole and i are steady with our boys. life is so good right now, i can't see that changing anytime soon."

rob and i sneak away to the docks, eager to have some alone time. i laugh as he scoops me up, playfully tossing me over his shoulder. i desperately reach back to pull down my dress but rob beats me to it, his hand snaking up the back of my thigh to hold the material down. i shriek as he stumbles slightly, his grip tightening before he steadies himself. he slowly drops me on the bench, our faces flushed with happiness. "i really, really like you" i say, my voice breaking the silence. his intense gaze finds mine, emotions flowing through his eyes as he murmurs quietly, "i really like you too, little bird."

we spend a little while wrapped in each other, comfortable silence surrounding us as we look out over the water. "rob! rory! get your asses over here, we're playing ping pong!" we share a laugh as kendall's loud voice rings out into the air. rob and i head back towards the villa, his thumb rubbing soothing circles on the back of my hand. my heart flutters at his movements, rob once again proving that actions can speak louder than words. i've accepted that he has trouble communicating his feelings but he's never failed to show them in the small moments we share.

i sit with the other girls as we watch the boys compete in a heated game of ping pong, laughing as they make playful jibes towards each other. my body relaxes, thrumming with happiness as i take in my new friends, knowing i'll remember this summer forever. each of the islanders holds a special place in my heart, i'm so blessed to have met each of them. i find myself leaning against liv as the night goes on, the blonde pulling me against her chest as i start to doze off. the other girls look at me with fond smiles, leah running a gentle hand through my curls. "she's so cute" kaylor coos, enamoured by the quiet breathes leaving my pouted lips.

their lowered volumes attract the attention of the boys, their eyes softening at the sight of my sleeping form. rob smiles, his gaze warm as he checks in with liv, "i can move her if you need me to." the blonde girl shakes her head, "she's fine here until we get ready for bed." the boys get back into the game, their voices noticeably quieter as they argue with each other. when everyone gets tired, rob gently picks me up, tucking my lethargic body against his chest as he follows the girls upstairs. serena hands rob a pair of my pajamas and my toiletry bag, trusting that he will help me get ready for bed.

rob shakes me gently, my eyes unfocused as he helps me change and brush my teeth. he props me up on the counter, carefully removing my makeup and cleaning my face. after he gets ready he carries me back to the bedroom, tucking me into bed before wrapping his body around mine. i'm fast asleep immediately, comforted by his familiar warm presence. the rest of the islanders doze off soon after the lights go out.

i'll be skipping over the next few days in the villa, it's mainly going to be the final recouplings before casa.
