Artius woke early. He took a glance at the time on the ship. Not even five yet. He closed his eyes and tried to go back to sleep. Instead he kept tossing and turning. No position felt comfortable.

He let out a sigh and sat up. Looks like he wasn't getting any more rest. His body decided now was the time to get up. Annoying.

Artius got off the bed and went to go take a quick shower. He wasn't sure what all to do until it was later. He sat back down on his bed once he was done with his shower.

Oscar cooed and flew over to him, landing on his lap. It tilted its head at him. Artius scratched Oscar's head.

"Morning, buddy." Artius said, keeping his voice low. "Wonder what today is going to hold for us."

They sat there for a while. Artius didn't know what to do. Time was passing so slowly. What was there to do? They didn't have much to go on right now. They needed to set up a meeting with Orbit, but that was not something they knew how to do.

That was all going to come down to Orbit and what he thought might work.

Artius startled as there was a buzz. He got up and grabbed the communicator from his desk. He answered.

Orbit appeared on the screen. "Good morning. Sorry for the early message but I'd like to get things set up now rather than later."

"You have a plan?" Artius asked.

"Kind of. Best idea I could come up with was for you guys to get spotted and see if Gilion would send us after you. It'll be a day or so before he finishes reprinting Atrophy." Orbit replied.

"I guess that would make it less suspicious but will he trust you guys to do it?" Artius questioned.

"I..." Orbit paused. "I don't know. If he didn't send us then I really don't know who else he would."

"There are no other high ranks that he could trust with this?"

"Not really. Us three were in charge of a lot of things. And honestly the others are probably no match for you guys anymore."

"Well, I guess we can see what happens." Artius said. "Not like we have much of an option anymore."

"Do you guys have any plan for what you're going to do? This is getting out of control very fast." Orbit asked.

"Our first goal is to locate the Orion energy if possible. Then we see if we can kill Atrophy again. Then... that's where I don't know. We need to kill Gilion but... I don't know where to begin with that."

"He rarely leaves the safety of PROX. It would be hard to get him after you. You would probably have to come to him."

"Which isn't good when we have two that can't exactly enter those areas."

"Right." Orbit sighed. "I really don't know what to tell you."

"We'll figure it out. Maybe Eclipse had something in mind. Maybe we have something to work with." Artius replied, trying to stay hopeful.

"Hopefully." Orbit nodded.

"Is that it?"

"For now."

"Then when everyone gets up we'll see what we can do."

"Stay safe. In case he does send someone else."

"You do the same."

The call ended. Artius took a deep breath and glanced over at Oscar.

"Well, Oscar. This is certainly not how I ever thought this war would go." Artius said. "Here we are, working with the enemy. And that's probably some of the normalest part of all of this."
