Meant To Be ( A Chase x Skye Story)

A new beginning

A month has passed since Marshall came into our lives. I have to say he feels like a brother to me. It is different from the friendship I have with Skye. If I consider the fact that he is a boy too it is reasonable. We have some things in common and he is great fun. We also work pretty good together.
Skye and Ryder have been the same but as it was expected our bonds are getting stronger day by day.
"Hey pups want to go for a walk? The weather is nice outside after all." "Of course Ryder let's go!" we said and we took off to Adventure Bay. I have to say, me and Skye haven't been there since Ryder took us in. It hasn't changed one bit.
As we were walking we got to see the beach again until something unexpected happened. "Hey Rocky come one it's not that bad! It's just water it won't hurt you!" "Zuma i told you many times! I am not going in there i hate water!" a Scottish terrier and a chocolate Labrador seemed to playfuly fight in front of us. "Excuse me are you two alright?" Ryder asked "Oh yes totally, we are friends, no need to intervene. I just wanted to put Rocky into water for once. I cannot understand why he hates it so much!" "Zuma stop embarrassing me!" he said as he playfully punched him on his shoulder. They seem to know eachother well. "I am Chase. It's a pleasure to meet you. So are you two alone?" "Yeah we are. We just have been us two since i don't even remember. But we get along. I am Rocky and he is Zuma." they seem to be nice. Even though they are different in many ways. "I am Marshall!" "And i am Skye! It is nice to meet you guys!". As we were going to keep up our conversation a loud noise came from the beach. It was a cat in the water! "Ryder we have to do something! But i am not that good in swimming." Marshall said. I caught a glimpse of Zuma rushing into the water without a second thought. "I have her! But i would need some help!" "I got you Zuma!" Rocky went near a trash can and made a net out of towels and old clothes and rushed to the shore as we followed him. He threw it to Zuma and he tied up the cat and got her out of the sea. "Wow guys amazing work! Both of you were impressive!" Marshall said and Skye went to calm the kitty down. "Great job Zuma and Rocky! Would you mind to join us for a while?" Ryder asked them "Of course, it would be nice to have some company!" Zuma said.

We all went to the lookout and played outside with a frisbee. It was pretty fun as we were all together laughing and cheering. I think I know what is Ryder planning to do. "Pups come inside! I have to tell you something!" We all rushed inside despite the tiredness and the heat. "After what i saw today and how well you all get along i have decided that Rocky and Zuma, you can join us!" Ryder said and all of us cheered about that. He gave Zuma a blue collar and Rocky an orange one. I think Ryder is really planning something out. But the fact that he gives everyone a chance to have a new life a new beginning is really great. I will support him for whatever he wants to do.
