Meant To Be ( A Chase x Skye Story)

The first rescue

After some hard days of training we were finally ready. Everyone has done their part and now we can officially be called Paw Patrol. Ryder went down town to tell the mayor about it so that if anyone needs help they can just call us. To be honest that is kind of scary. But we can do this.
I was just playing with everyone else in the yard when suddenly our pup tags made a noise and then Ryder was heard. "Paw Patrol, to the lookout!" we all stared at eachother with excitement "Ryder needs us!" we ran fast into the elevator so we can get upstairs. "Guys, watch out!" Marshall shouted as he tripped over a squishy toy and fell over us. "Heh sorry." he said and we all laughed. We were half way up and we all got our gear on. Finally we got upstairs and jumped in front being in a line. "Paw Patrol ready for action Ryder sir!" I said proudly. It just came into my mind in the moment, I think it's catchy so that everyone feels confident. "Thank you pups. Today it is our first mission. And it seems like it will be busy. A cat is stuck on the top of the bridge near us and she may fall down any moment. So I will need all of our crew for this job. Paw Patrol is on a roll!" we all howled and you could see that everyone was fired up.
All of us were there. A kitty seemed to be stuck and from where she was a part of the bridge seemed to be broken and the rope was going to be cut off. "Rocky find something to replace the rope and then fix the broken part of the bridge so it can be steady again. Zuma go find a place right under the cat so if she falls you can catch her." "All right Ryder!" Marshall give Zuma a mattress or a trampoline so that the cat won't fall into the water. But first use your ladder to see if you can catch her." and so he did. It seemed though that the ladder wasn't big enough for him to reach. "Sorry Ryder my ladder isn't big enough. But i will find something to give Zuma." "It's alright Marshall! Chase i want you in any case she falls down from any side to use your net. She may be anxious and maybe get injured if she starts moving." "All right sir!" "And Skye try to convince her to jump on the cage under your helicopter." everyone had a part to do and everything was under control. But i can feel that everyone is under high pressure.
"Come on kitty jump in there! I promise it will be alright!" I tried to calm her down so she could go inside the cage but she was pretty scared. I decided to go near her but i scared her more. She jumped out of instinct but then went back on top. This though, caused me to lose a bit control of my helicopter but i managed to be steady again.
I watched Skye that had some trouble and the fact that she lost a bit control made me worried. "I can't watch!" I said to my self while covering my eyes. But i took a glance and saw that she was fine. Of course she would be fine no need for me to worry!
"Ryder she is going to slip! Get ready!" Skye said. "Alright pups get ready!" Ryder said and as soon as he said that the cat fell in the side of the ocean. "Chase use your net!" And so i did " * Ruff * net!" it caught her and then it was Zuma's job. Thank God that Rocky fixed everything and nothing else is falling down except the cat. "Ryder i have her! She fell on the trampoline and the net doesn't let her to move! I am coming over you guys!" Zuma said and we all celebrated our first rescue!
Zuma came on the bridge and just in time the mayor and a little girl came. "Oh you silly cat, you caused so much trouble! Thank you, eh how are you pups called?" "We are the Paw Patrol! Whenever you are in trouble just yelp for help!" "Thank you Paw Patrol!" "Yes indeed! You are the heroes of Adventure Bay! We can count on you!" "Of course Mayor Goodway!" Ryder said and then we all went back to the lookout.
"Wow guys our first rescue and it was so exciting!" "You can say that again Marshall! And we all worked together!" Zuma said. "Skye did you have any trouble? I saw that you lost a bit control of the helicopter and i was like i can't see but you did it!" "Aww you were worried! Don't worry Chase i had it all under control." "N-no, i knew you could it! Me worried?" and i laughed it off. Why do i act like that? The boys saw me. Again. I know exactly what they are thinking though. "Anyway let's celebrate our first rescue!" I said and everyone went inside. This was something different. I can live with that. Helping others and being a part of a great team. I wonder what else awaits us.
