Some days have passed and I feel a lot better. Chase has been treating me well and always helped me a lot but I could see he wasn't feeling well. Every time I tried to convince him to rest he just wouldn't listen. "Chase I am fine. I had a speedy recovery thanks to you. It is my time to repay the deed now." "Okay Skye. I trust you and thank you." "Good. Now please before we start anything go sleep. You really do need it. Your body must be heavy." He didn't speak, he just nodded with a big smile and went into his place. Finally that thick headed pup listened for once.
Hopefully for us Paw Patrol took a long break after the incident. Ryder told that to Mayor Goodway and she understood. Also everyone is being extra careful so they won't have to bother us. He had no one he was all alone but he did his best to protect me from anything and anyone. He always tried his best. Then after some weeks Ryder saw us. We had a conflict but we ended up trusting him and stayed with him. I met everyone and everything was perfect. Until that incident happened some weeks ago." i stopped to take a breath. I arrived and I saw Chase was still sleeping. I brought him water and food just outside his door. I kissed my paw and put it in his nose. I hope no one saw that. "Sleep well Chasy. Thank you. It's my turn now." And went back to my place. But for my bad luck Zuma was just beside me. "Aahh! You scared me!"
