Meant To Be ( A Chase x Skye Story)

Under the stars

Finally it was night time. I waited until everyone was asleep and Ryder to go inside so I could go talk to Skye. I had everything on me now we should just be careful. I was right outside Skye's door. "Hey Skye come out, it's all clear." I said in a silent voice. I didn't want to wake anybody. I heard the door opening slowly and I saw Skye. We looked at our surroundings and then we proceeded to go to our tree. That one with the swing on it.
No one noticed us and we were finally on our destination. "Hey that was pretty scary back there." Skye said "Come on, it was nothing. Be glad that no one heard us." we kept on talking very silently. But sometimes excitement took over us. We put our beds side by side and laid on our backs. Millions or billions of stars lighted up the night sky. It was something incredible. A beautiful silence made the atmosphere relaxing. "You know, it has been ages since the last time I stargazed. I think it was around the time I first met you." "It was such a thoughtful idea Chase. I mean, I never experienced something like this. It feels kind of exciting even though it may seem normal." "Well, we should enjoy it." I said and then silence again.
Some minutes have passed and suddenly I felt something inside of me. My heart was bumping so fast and I was all warm inside of me. I was trembling. I understood what I had to do. It was the one in a million chance. I didn't think it would be like this but I should take the risk.

All that, that Chase had planned was perfect. We were silent observing the night Skye and when something would caught our eyes we would say it out loud and maybe laugh a bit. Suddenly though, I felt something inside me. I knew that this was the moment I was searching for. I should take the risk.

"Ehm, Skye can I tell you something?" I got up. I don't know where I found the power to do so. I tried to sound confident. "Oh, yeah, of course." "It is something that I need to get out of my chest. From the moment we met we have been inseparable. We have been through a lot and we never gave up. I am glad and very lucky to have met you and you being in my life forever since. I care about you and I want to take care of you. I don't want something to happen to you ever again. It's just that. You are special to me. I love everything that you do, and just when I look at you or I talk to you everything just feels right. All my problems disappear. I want all of it." I took a pause and I could she those beautiful magenta eyes filled with excitement. "Those eyes of yours. Those beautiful sparkling magenta eyes that reflect with the light of the night Skye. I don't want to ever get my eyes of them." We just stared at eachother.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It is happening. My dream. Everything I wanted. I am filled with pure joy and excitement all over me. He stopped talking and I could only stare. "I understand if you are uncomfortable." even in this moment he cares if I am uncomfortable. This big jerk. "No Chase I am not. I am happy. Very happy. After everything we've been through after all that. I know what you mean. I understand your feelings. I want more of if too. I want to observe these chocolate brown eyes of yours everyday. I like everything that you do, I envy you for being who you are and you want everything to be perfect. You always care about me and you prioritise me from the very start."

We stared down at eachother for a little longer when finally I had the guts to say it. "I love you" these words came out from both of us at the same time. I gave her a warm smile. She gave me one two and she started tearing up. "Finally you dummy, I thought you would be blind forever!" "Sorry Skye. I should have seen it sooner. We are important for eachother." I hugged her and she hugged me tight too. I patted her head and this time she wasn't mad at me. It was the first time that this happened. "You know Skye. Maybe it was all meant to be from the start. From the day we met until now." "You might be right Chase. Sometimes I see you as an angel that my parents gave to me. You are perfect Chase. I love your flaws, I love your stupid jokes, I love everything about you. You being your self." "I love you too Skye. Your excited personality,  your kindness, your flaws. Everything about you is perfect in my eyes. These eyes and this smile always makes my heart melt. Oh and I'm sorry if things have been awkward lately." "We found the courage to confess. We don't have to be like that anymore. We are something more now." "You are right. We are indeed something more now."

I've never felt more happy in my life. It really came true. I am finally with Skye. And I will never ever leave her. We hugged for eachother a bit longer until we touched noses. "Hey that was embarrassing!" I said. "You liked it though, don't lie to yourself." "You are going to tease me all the time aren't you?" "You know me well!" she said while laughing. I grabbed her and then I lied to my bed again with her on top of me. I could see her face being red. I knew how to tease her. "Hey Skye look at me don't be shy!" "Fine fine!" She opened her eyes and then I kissed her. A kiss that I could feel both of our heartbeats. It was a calm yet warm and powerful kiss. It lasted for some time until she stopped. "You jerk! That was some other level of teasing right there!" "You liked though didn't you?" "Y-yeah." she said while looking away "You cant hide your blush I know you." We laughed. A lot. But it was from pure joy. "We have to sleep now." "Yeah you are right. It is late. I will go talk to Everest tomorrow is it okay with you?" "Of course Skye! I will talk with the other guys. I think Ryder is the last one who should know." "Yeah me too. I hope he approves." we said while sharing a smile. She was now right beside me. "Goodnight love." "Goodnight to you too love." we kissed again and she fell on my chest.

This reminded me of the first time I fell on his chest back when we met. But now it was different. Thank you mother. Thank you father. Thank you for sending Chase into my life. He is perfect. I will treasure him and be there for him. Always. I smiled and then fell asleep on his chest.
