𝙒𝙃𝙀𝙉 I met Hanjin in the studio, he was really worried about me. He kept asking if a bully was after me and said he was ready to stand up to them.

I assured him that I was fine. If I wanted to use his concern, maybe he could confront that person to make them stop following me. But I'm not the type to take advantage of someone for my own gain. I won't stoop as low as the backstabbers I knew from my old school.

"Did you know? When I was a kid, someone saved me from the bad guys."

I glanced at Hanjin, who was looking out the window. I was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall.

"I was new here, and most people didn't know me," he started telling his story.

"One day, I was eating my ice cream when a group of older kids came up to me, and one of them smacked my hand, making my ice cream fly away."

The way he described it was very impactful. I could imagine myself in that exact situation.

"I cried, and then he pushed me, and I fell to the ground."

"Wait, where were your parents that day? Weren't they with you?" I asked curiously.

"They're always busy, they don't have time for me. I had a personal maid, but that day, I escaped from her to have some time alone."

"I see, I'm sorry for prying."

"No worries," he said, smiling at me.

"Anyway, just when I thought it was all over, someone suddenly pushed the same kid who did it to me. There were four of them, but surprisingly, he managed to scare them away."

"But how? Did he fight back or something?"

"I don't know, he was just there, standing and not doing anything. All the kids ran away as if they saw a ghost."

I nodded in understanding.

"But who cares, he was my hero. People say he's mean, cold, and ungrateful, but to me, he's the best person. Sadly, people will never know that side of him."

I heard him sigh heavily, as if it bothered him a lot when this hero of his life was unfairly criticized.

Well, I get it; people always misunderstand me for being myself. At first, it made me feel uneasy, but as I got used to it, I stopped minding them. I adapted to the "let them say whatever they want, I don't really care" attitude.

"You're spacing out again," he suddenly said, bringing me back to reality.

"I just remembered something."

"Do you want to share?"

"No, thanks."

I thought he might be disappointed that I declined after he shared his experience.

"It's okay."

It seems like most of the people I've met recently respect my boundaries, except for him.

"By the way, I brought my portfolio with me. I thought it might help you believe in my skills."

He handed it to me. It looked like he had put together his works just to show them to me. When I opened it, I saw his information, and flipping to the next page, I was amazed by his photography skills. He definitely has talent, and it's not just talent; I felt like he was really passionate about it, and it looked like professional work.

"Wow!"

"Amazing!"

"This looks fun."
