𝙄 𝙂𝙇𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙀𝘿 at Jay and Hanjin, who were eating beside me. I told Jay that we could eat in the studio instead, so it would be peaceful for us, but I also told him about Hanjin being around, and he was fine with it.

"Aren't you-"

"This tastes so good," Hanjin interrupted Jay when he tried to say something. At first, I was curious and tried to observe their reaction, but then I ignored it eventually.

"My mom prepared that," Jay said.

"I envy you," Hanjin didn't hesitate to utter.

The mood suddenly went awkward for the three of us.

"By the way, Dohoon, I have good news," Hanjin suddenly stated. I got so curious about it that I had to stop chewing the food inside my mouth.
"But first, keep chewing," he added.

I heard Jay chuckled a little. It's the first time I saw him moving his lips in such a moment. When he saw me glancing at him, he went back to his blank face and turned away. I sighed, but I am still glad I was able to witness it.

"Anyway, I was able to find a few members to begin with. I'll let you talk to them."

"Hanjin..."

"Whenever you're ready," he immediately interrupted me as if knowing what I was about to say. Well, he was right if he's thinking that I need to prepare for it.

"Thank you."

"For you, your highness."

"Here you go again," I defended, but Hanjin just smiled and continued eating.

After finishing our meal, we decided to return to our classroom to prepare for the next subject, physical education. On our way back, Jay suddenly called my name.

"About what I said to you last time," he uttered. I had to think for a moment to remember what exactly he meant about what he said.

"Which one?"

"About him."

"Him?"

Although I already had an idea who he was referring to, I don't want to claim that my thought was true.

"You know who," he shortly answered without mentioning his name.

"Uhh...what about him?" I genuinely asked, still forgetting what he wanted to say.

"I was wrong, and I don't want to cause a mess."

His sudden expression had changed immediately as soon as he mouthed those words. Suddenly, I remembered what he told me last time about a monster thing. Actually, in a human's perspective, I would say he described him accurately, but in the context of magic and stuff, I never really mind it.

"Were you threatened?"

"What!? Of course not!"

"Relax, I was just kidding," I giggled when I found him so defensive.

"He's a good guy. I am the bad one. I can't believe I said those words behind his back."

Jay's confession suddenly brought attention to my mind. It was like an avalanche ready to wreck havoc in a town.

"I'm getting confused right now, Jay," I honestly told him.

"I don't need you to see the good in him like I do, but promise me, you must forget what I once told you."
