𝙎𝙄𝙇𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 dominated the whole room for a moment before I decided to open my mouth. Who would have thought someone would join me in building our first-ever art club?
There's also one thing, why do I feel like I heard his name before? I'm sure I heard of it; I just can't remember where and when exactly it was.
"You must be Dohoon, if I am not mistaken," he mouthed, and I nodded as a response.
"I'm Hanjin, nice to meet you, and I can't wait to work with you." He offered his hand for a handshake, but I was in a moment of disbelief.
He took my hand so he could shake it. I didn't mind it since he dropped it quickly.
"Actually..."
"You haven't started it yet?" he interrupted me. It's as if he can read minds. Then, I saw him smile.
"Mm."
"It's okay, I am willing to help you."
"Really?"
Is he telling the truth? I felt anxious, although he looked like he's pure and genuine, but then again, it's my first time meeting him. I don't know whether I can trust him or not.
"What? Are you afraid?" he suddenly uttered, which astonished me.
"You can read minds?"
Unbelievable, Dohoon!
I heard him laugh so hard.
"You're funny."
I cleared my throat and calmed myself. I'm such an embarrassment in front of people.
"Can you draw?"
"Paint?"
"Sculpt?"
"What's your hobby?"
I asked him multiple questions. I wonder what he can do after all he was so interested in joining my club.
"Umm...let me think."
I frowned after he responded. What does he mean about it? Why is he taking time to think of something he does?
"Well, I love photography, is that qualified?"
I sighed when I heard his answer.
"Woah! That was a deep sigh. Are you disappointed? I knew it! Even my parents don't support me."
"No! That's not true!"
I immediately consoled him; the atmosphere seemed so heavy. I looked at him, who's facing down. Was it really serious to him?
"Hey! You misunderstood it. I just thought you don't have any hobbies, so when I heard you love photography, I felt relieved."
I explained it to him sincerely. He lifted his head and faced me, then I saw his teary eyes. He must have a hard time proving himself to his parents.
Suddenly, he hugged me. At first, I tried to push him, but then I remember Jihoon; he used to embrace me whenever he was feeling down. I didn't react impulsively, so I hugged him back and caressed his back to ease his heavy emotion.
For the first time in my life, I was able to hug someone genuinely. Then, Shinyu appeared inside my mind; it suddenly flashed back to when he hugged me at the library and when he held my waist in the cafeteria.
Recalling those experiences, I accidentally pushed Hanjin. He was so shocked that his sadness vanished and turned to shock.
"Are you okay? I'm sorry!"
"I got carried away. I really apologize!"
"Please forgive me!"
