𝙁𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔, the new week has come, and I woke up early in the morning. The sun hadn't come out yet, but I was no longer sleepy to take a few minutes nap.
I got up from my bed, turned on the lights, and went to the kitchen. I gargled some water and drank some. I rested my back on the fridge and crossed my left leg over the other.
The time had come for me to initiate my plan: avoid him at all costs and do not ever utter a single letter to him, not even a hint of sound. I smirked when I imagined how he would react to that. Let's see if you won't give up this time, Shinyu!
I went back to my room to prepare my stuff so that I could cook my breakfast. I sat at my desk and while picking up my things, the wall above caught my attention.
I stared at the painting I had brought yesterday. It was perfect for my room's setup. I rested my left cheek on my palm as I looked at it. It really felt like I was staring at an actual sky with clouds surrounding its blueness.
All of a sudden, at the bottom of the painting, I saw a name on it. It was SUNDAE, and below it were the initials, S.J.
"What a waste, why did you throw away such an amazing creation," I mumbled.
When I was done, I returned to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast so I could take a bath afterward. I just put the two slices of bread in the toaster and then, while waiting, I fried an egg, a sausage, and bacon. I also made a glass of milk. When the bread was ready, I put some butter and then some lettuce. I piled the fillings and covered it with the slices of bread.
I took a bath, dried my hair afterward, and wore my uniform. I made sure I looked presentable and neat. I put on some sunscreen and lip balm. Now, my lips looked amazing. If Jihoon were to see it, he would really try to kiss it, but he would never stand a chance.
He used to tell me that he would date me when we grow up if I were born a girl. Until now, those smiley eyes and precious smile still exist in my mind.
I sighed and went back to reality. I put on my shoes and carried my bag. When I exited my room, I was greeted by a familiar voice.
"Good morning!"
"Good morning," I responded back. It was Youngjae, still wearing his pajamas.
"You're so early today, is there something exciting that happened to you?"
"It's just the usual day. I just got up early."
"I see. Have fun at school and take care on your way."
"Thanks."
He smiled at me and waved his hand. I did the same. Youngjae's personality is really soft. I feel comfortable around him. He always makes sure that I am fine. I don't even permit anyone to touch me because I always feel uneasy, but when he does, it doesn't bother me.
Perhaps my trust in him has grown deeper. After all, he was not the kind of person who would force a conversation or make you feel awkward. He respects boundaries, and most importantly, he tries to understand me.
Maybe not everyone is like the people I met before. Maybe Mom and Dad were right, and sooner, I would meet some friends who will share moments with me. If it happens, I wish it would be the same way Jihoon treated me.
