Few days ago…

Liliana is gone.

Like really gone. She drugged me a few days earlier. What does she think of me? That I don't know any of it? I know everything. From the moment she mixed the sleeping powder to my meal, I just knew that she's planning to run away. Escape from me and I let her do it. Why? To make her feel powerful and she is. She's the most powerful and boldest woman I have ever encountered.

But what is giving me a lot of headache is—I still couldn’t track her down. She flew to the state and I'm well aware of it but the thing is I can't find her anywhere as if she just vanished. I know it was Ari who helped my woman to escape as well, however, I didn’t interrogate yet as it would be useless. She would die still wouldn’t utter a single word about Liliana. I know Ari pretty well. She's as stubborn as Liliana. 

I can't kill her either. My flower will be hurt as she loves her mother so damn much. So, I'm keeping a close eye on Ari, she's transferring a huge amount of money continuously to an account that belongs to New York and that's how I know my flower is in New York. 

I enquired Ari about it and she told me something stupid and her eyes told me everything that she was lying. So, I'll fly to the States tomorrow with my daughter. My daughter has been continuously asking about her Mamma and I'm having a hard time making her understand that her mother has gone on a short vacation as she's mad at me so, I'll find her.

Come on, Lili, don't be so hard on me please.

A sigh leaves from my mouth as I stare at Namjoon who had called me earlier to visit his office. Both me and Jimin are here to discuss. 

“Hyung—”

“There's something interesting I need to show you.” he says as his upper lip curls into a smirk. He rotates the laptop as he clicks the play button. “You see that blonde lady on the line?” He says as he pauses the video and zooms the footage. “Her name is Marlin Williams and she had gone back to New York that day after Liliana went missing for three days.” He says and I raise a brow.

“And?” I ask further while staring at the woman on the screen while zooming in and zooming out, playing the footage again and again. “Marlin Williams has the record of going back to New York but no record of coming to South Korea. My team has already found the culprit of Incheon Airport and something interesting fact is—Choi Ari had paid him a shit ton of money to cover this up. So, what do you think?”

My eyes find the lady again, she's talking to the passport checker via sign language and something catches my attention. The way her hands are shaking while talking to her. She's nervous. And she's no other than my flower.

“That’s my Liliana.” I say as my throat clenches tightly. Did I push the highest button where she considered escaping from me? I did wrong, so much wrong and I'm well aware of it but right now, how to get her back where she's living in a brand new identity? 

“I'll fly to New York tomorrow. But before that, I have an urgent task to do.” I say as I get up from the couch while trying to ignore the sting in my chest and throat as well. Liliana ran away because she wanted to be free. She doesn’t believe me and I didn’t provide her any reason to believe me at all. I don't blame her though but I'll get her back no matter what.
