"Sorry! Sorry! I did it without thinking! My body suddenly moved on its own! However, I happy it did!" Mallory said honestly.
After the two where better, they stood up and saw the huge whole that was buried.
Under one could see swords pointing straight up. This was definitely a human beings work. They even hid the hole with a fake sand sheet!
...
"I wanted to warn you of the possibility of traps. That's why we couldn't move around recklessly before!" Abdullah informed them.
"Well, they have done it now! Lorry, are you fit to move now?!" Austin asked looking very angry.
He rarely got angry to the point that one will notice before.
He was very good at controlling his emotions after that incident so when Aaron saw him like this, he knew those 5 will not be able to escape anymore.
"Yes! Fit as ever!" Lorry said as she got on Matilda.
"Good! They are currently three heading towards our front and two towards they forest we just came out from!
Aaron! Ahmad! You two handle the two! You will be able to catch up to them on time! They are close by!
Lorry and I will go after the remaining three! Non is allowed to escape!
Bring them back alive! If they seem too tricky to handle, then get back here with your lives intact!
Mallory! Captain Abdullah! You two stay here and guard the place!"
Austin ordered around and they all nodded and went their separate ways.
Seeing Austin giving out orders like this, reminded Lorry of her father.
'Maybe the life of a Captain suited Austin better than a prince! He has the skills to back it up too!'
Lorry thought to herself as they galloped towards the other three.
...
"Finally caught up with them!"
Lorry said as they could now see the other three accomplices. Each one of them was ridding a horse.
"There's a city nearby. We can't let them reach it! One's they get through, we are going to lose sight of them!"
Austin said as he saw the houses in the distance.
"Then, there's only one thing left to do!" Lorry said with a smirk.
"Yeah! But we've pretty much never done it with real swords!"
Austin said ones he realised what she meant.
"There's always a first time for everything! Don't get left behind!"
Lorry yelled as she increased her speed."You should at least think things through before suggesting a combo move!"
Austin yelled back as he also increased his speed.
...
Ones the two had reached a closer distance to the three accomplices, they two nodded to the other indicating that both side were ready.
Austin and Lorry moves forward and stood beside the trio from both side.
"Ice..."
"Flame..."
""Tornado!!""
They both yelled out. The trio were now engulfed in a tornado and couldn't break out no matter how they tried. Their screams were the only thing left.
...
"That was dangerous! We were lucky that we got the ratios and timing correct or we would have been caught in it! Or worse! It could have backfired on us!"
Austin argued as the two were on their way back to the others with the captured trio.
"You stress things too much! We got it right and that's all that matters!"
Lorry replied not caring about the details and risk.
"We could have been injured there!" Austin said.
"But we weren't!" Lorry replied back.
"It could have!" Austin said strongly.
"But it didn't!" Lorry replied nonchalantly.
"You don't think of the consequences sometimes, you know that right?!" Austin said.
"Hahaha! Don't worry! Everything worked out well that's all that matters!" Lorry laughed making Austin sigh.
