When we finally separated ourselves from the long bear hug, everyone went their way.

Brother Roy and I went back to watching animes on the crystal TV. You might wonder, what is this crystal TV that I have been mentioning since a while ago, right?

Is it a station or channel?  No.

Is it the name of one of the above?

         No.

Is it like the regular flat screen TV's?

         No!

Is the TV made of crystal?

Hmm, somewhat, but not exactly. Then what might it be?

Crystal TV's are small size crystals that project all the things a normal TV does. It also does all its work. Crystals are all the trends now.

We are no longer in the age of electricity and technology, this is now the Crystal Age. 'Cue fireworks, haha'

Almost everything in the world runs on crystal energy now. We still have some of the past technologies but we use more of crystals now.

The most advantageous thing is that, it is environmentally friendly, and its found in abundance. It is also well welcomed by all round the world.

Hmm, I think that's enough information about crystals, now time to focus on my animes before it's time to go to the banquet. Adios.

...

"Lor, I think we should get ready for the banquet. It's all ready late." Brother Roy informed me, placing his bowl of popcorn on the table.

"Hmm, just ten minutes!" I requested not even looking at him. The anime is currently at a climax that I don't want to miss!

Brother Roy laughed seeing my reaction and warned. "You know you will be in trouble if Mama finds, out right?"

"Uhun, that's if she finds out. Now shoo! Shoo! Your distracting me!" I waved my hand at him dismissively.

He quietly left, leaving me to concentrate on my anime.

"Oh my goodness! I didn't expect that!" I screamed watching what was happening.

"What's doing to happen, what's going to happen!" I stared at the screen deeply, about to jump of the couch.

"LORRY NIGHT! YOU BETTER BE READY IN THE NEXT FIVE MINUTES OR ELSE!!" Mama shriek from their room, making me fall face first on the table.

"Aww!" I rubbed my nose, but there's no time for that. As I hurriedly got off the floor and sped to my room to get ready. You do NOT mess with Mama when she gets angry.

...

We are now in the beautifully decorated banquet Hall of the Royal Palace. It looks more beautiful than it did in the morning. More so with the fact that everyone is dressed splendidly. My dress is green in colour.

Everyone dispersed and went to mingle with their friends, leaving standing at the entrance all alone.

It's not like I don't have a friend, it's just that she's on a mission in another kingdom presently. And me and the ladies of our kingdom,...uhmm, don't get along that much.

Why? You may ask. There are two reasons that can explain it.

One, it's because I'm more of a secluded type of person. I like the silence despite how I act, haha. I sweat dropped internally. Moving own,...

      Two, it's because,...

"Did you hear that that knight girl was given the position of the prince's royal Bodyguard?" I heard a whispering voice as soon as I arrived at the food court.

"Yes, I heard it too! How could the king have given her such an honour?" Another voice said in contempt.

"I heard that she lived her whole life with boys, how could a girl like that be left to guard the prince?" Another voice mocked.

"Ohh really? I heard that going against the Kings order is a crime punishable by imprisonment." I said, making them look at me with shocked and horrified faces. I smiled in content as I watched them skidaddle away.

I took a bite of the macaroons which was placed on my plate and found a corner to sit that was more isolated. It was facing the food, which was a bonus.

This is the second reason why we don't get along. Its not like I'm the first female knight, they are alot that came before us. People can't easily get rid of the way they think sometimes.

The was a girls quarter for crying out loud! Mama won't have allowed me to ho if they wasn't!

      "Phew!" I sighed tiredly.

"Why are you so low of energy when the night has just begun!"

A voice sounded from behind me, before I could turn around, the figure walked forward and sat next to me.

Facing the figure properly, I gave a smile.

"When did you get here?" I asked her.

"Just now." She replied, taking food into her plate to eat.

"They would have announced it then, after all, you are the princess of this kingdom. " I said.

"Guilty as charged!" She laughed, making me join her.

"I'm seriously curious. Do say." I said placing the back of my hands under my chin.

"All right, I sneaked in before they knew it." She said playfully with a smile and one eye closed.

"Sheesh! And your supposed to be the princess of our kingdom. " we both laughed.

"Now, enough talks about me. Tell me why you look so gloomy. " She said, concerned.

"Nothing. You need to try out this macaroons, there delicious!" I said energetically trying to distract her.

"I know its not 'Nothing' as you say Lor. And also I know there delicious, after all it is the royal chef that made it!" She said looking at me smugly. "Now tell me!" She urged.

"Sheesh, you just can't let me off the hook can you?" I asked with a smile.

"Nope!" She stuck her tongue out.
