                       Lorry's POV

"WHAAAAATTT!" I yelled out as I felt myself being pulled out of something.

I looked around to see that I was in my bedroom on my bed and in my pajamas.

'Was it all a dream?' I thought to myself as I looked at the book placed in front of me.

I took it in my hand and looked at the cover. The Royal Bodyguard.  That was what it read.

I turned the book around to where the synopsis was and read it too.

'Lorry Night is the only daughter of Evans Night. She has three older brothers who adore her and a loving family.
She is strong, brave, happy and contented with her life. Everything was peaceful until she became the Royal Bodyguard of the Prince.
Join her as she goes through life struggles, uncover secrets and finds out more about herself.'

"It was really all a dream!" I exclaimed.

...

       "PAh!"

The door to my room got knocked open and Mama entered.

"Why are you making a ruckus early in the morning?!" Mama said with an angry expression on.

       "Mama, what happened yesterday?"

I asked her as I got off my bed. I felt a sharp pain in my ankle. I couldn't recall tall that happened the day before.

"After hearing the news of your brother Roy's and Lillian's marriage yesterday, you trip and hurt your ankle.

You were sent back to your room to rest up but started reading a novel instead!"

Mama said hen started to nag about how clumsy I was.

"Also, Mallory and the boys are downstairs waiting for you." Mama said and left.

I got ready and went down to meet them. Then we went out.

...

"I mean, the signs were there. How is it that you didn't notice?" Aaron asked as they walk.

"It didn't cross my mind!" I argued back.

"We all noticed it and thought you also did, that's why we didn't think of saying anything about it before." Mallory explained.

"So I was the only one that was clueless about it?"

I asked feeling dejected. They rest nodded in affirmative.

"Even you knee about it, Austin?" I asked Austin.

"Yeah! At times it looked like you really didn't know about it while other times you acted as if you knew." Austin said.

"That's..." I started not knowing what to say.

"There there! Nothing to feel down about!" Mallory comforted.

        "Let's hurry up!"

Aaron said and picked up the paste they rest followed suit leaving me and my thoughts.

My name is Lorry Keint, a modern day girl. I tell asleep reading a novel and dreamt about it.

While people normally wake up from sleep the normal way or through nightmares, I woke up because of learning about my brothers marriage!

I mean, I knew he was going to get married someday but... ugh!

...

"What are you doing dozing off all of a sudden?"

Mallory asked me making me focus back on them. They boys were all ready in front of us waiting for us to catch up.

"Come on! Let's go!" Mallory and pulled me towards them.

My name is Lorry Keint and I am happy to be friends with this three in both dream and reality!

The End.

...

Austin: Come to think of it, if everything was Lorry's dream, doesn't that mean our real self didn't appear in the story until the last chapter? *in deep thought*

Mallory: uhmm! Yeah! If you put it that way, then yes. *nodded in agreement*

Austin: that means we only said a few words throughout! *struck by realisation*

Lorry: there there! There's nothing to worry about! It also means that my real self didn't appear until the last one too. *trying to comfort*

Austin: however, it was your dream so that doesn't count! *not accepting to back down*

Lillian: then doesn't that mean Roy and I didn't appear at all? So you should really count yourself lucky. *joins in the persuasion team*

Austin: *not wanting to let it slide*

Aaron: I think the real thing we should be asking Lorry is why the sword? *says with a smirk and trying to change the topic*

Lorry: aha...ha...haha! *laughs nervously* we're getting late! Come on! I'm going to leave you all behind if not! *tries to runaway*

Mallory: *grabs Lorry's hand tightly, eyes glowing* I will also like know why!

Lorry: it was the story's effect not me! I started to read it but fell asleep! So my dream got jumbled with it! *defends herself*

Mallory: what should we do now? *whispers to the other three* does that sound believable? *says looking at Lorry giving pitiful eyes*

Lillian: well, might as well let it go! We can't turn back time after all! *defended lorry*

Austin: are you sure it's not because you want gain favour from her? *says accusingly with a smirk*

Lillian: you know there's no need for that! *replied back with a smirk*

Aaron: it's time to go then! *says and they all walked together*

Lorry: yeah! *hurriedly agrees*

...

At a corner in the backstage.

Roy: did they all forgot about me? *depressed*

Austin: whatcha doing bro? Let's go all ready.

Roy: *joins up with the team*

Aaron: you and your sister really like to stand behind! *says the fact and they all laughed along*

...
