      'Ahh! It seems our bait has been grapped!'

      I thought to myself as I heard the movement of feet on grass.

       Immediately after, I heard the sound of air breaking and saw numerous arrows flying our way!

       Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was crystal arrows. Not just the normal ones, but the exploding ones!

      "Flame Web!" I said as took out my sword.

        Like the name shows, a Web made of flame was made a distance in front of us.

      The two; my flame Web and the exploding arrows collided.

         The arrows explored but it was contained by the Web.

       "Ice Slash!"

        "Wind Arrow!"

      Austin and Aaron said after the dust caused by the explosion had reduced.

      The enemy kept on sending arrow attacks, within them were exploding crystal, light blinding crystal and the rest.

        The five of us fought back and stood our ground. This resulted in a stalemate.

      Neither one of us to advance. The enemy, seemingly sensing the same thing, shoot a light blinding crystal that was of high quality and fled away.

      At the end, we weren't able to get a direct confrontation with them nor figure out their objectives.

      They certainly weren't ordinary thieves looking for whom to rub with their skills.

...

       The five of us were now back at the Palace. Luckily, no one got injured.

      Austin, Aaron and I were now heading to the Royal room to inform the King about what happened.

      "Where---?!"

      I started asking when I saw the two make a sharp turn in a different direction from the Palace room.

       I don't know whether the heard me or not, but they continued striving ahead.

        After reaching a certain part in the hall, Austin turned around facing the wall and pulled the lamp that was hung there down.

       I was baffled and about to say something went I saw the wall move towards the left silently.

       Is this one of the secret passage that was hidden in the Palace?

     I heard that they were various hidden entrances being placed in the Palace for the royal family's safety.

      This entrances are also used by Dark knights to help them get their work down fast, efficient and without notice.

      Didn't expect it to be actually true! It feels like a treasure hunt or something! Hahaha!

       'Sheesh! Lorry Night! Focus! This is not the time or place for this!' I told myself as we walked further in.

      "Don't worry, we soon reach where we are supposed to meet."

       Aaron, seeing me in my distracted form thought I was confused and tried to calm me down.

      I wanted to say that I wasn't worried or anything but then it hit me.

       He said, 'Where we are supposed to meet' does that mean their are others their as well?

        We walked through the lamp lit passage and finally reached a door at the end.

      Seems like it's the only door hear but I can see other roads leading to it.

      "We're here!" Aaron said after he opened the door.

      Inside, I saw Lillian, my brother Roy,  Emma and Mikey all sitted on the sofas. Some were even sipping on tea or drinking juice.

       "Brother Roy, what are you doing here?" I asked confused.

     How was my brother able to get here so fast? How does he know about the secret passages? Only a few know of this apart from the before mentioned.

        "You didn't tell her all ready?!" Lillian asked my brother accusingly. Looking like he was supposed to tell me something.

       "I couldn't find the right moment too!" My brother Roy defended.

       "Tell me what?!" I asked seeing that the two were not going to say anything.

       "Your brother, Roy here, is the captain of the Dark knights that's are under I and my sisters command." Austin explained.
