Chapter 8: I did something bad

When I arrive at my hideout, Kai is already there, washed, in his robe and slippers, sitting in the office waiting for me. I walk over to him, and I kiss him on the cheek. he grins up at me and says, "You were positively scary today darling."

I giggle. "You think so."

"yes. I'm proud of you. it's too bad they didn't get caught in the blast." He says as he watched me undress.

"I'm sorry baby. I had to create a diversion. They were on my tail." I walk into the bathroom and hop in the shower.

A few minutes later, I come out in only a towel, and he looks over my wet body hungrily. I walk over to where he is sitting and sit on his lap. he frowns and says, "come on baby, I just bought this. its Italian silk."

I kiss his cheek and then his nose. "I'll buy you another one. I'll buy you 10."

He sighs as he places his head in my neck. "If you really want to give me a present, you could try learning how to control your powers better." He squeezes my thigh hard, and I whimper.

I frown as he digs his nails into to my thigh and sucks on my neck hard. And when he finally release me and looks into my face, I smile lovingly at him.

He sighs, "I'm sorry baby. This whole thing wouldn't be so hard if you would just do what I tell you to do."

I stand up and say, "I know baby. It just takes time. I never had anyone to teach me what to do it. please be patient with me." I bat my eyes at him and he gets up and walks over to me and hugs me tightly. He whispers in my ear, "I knew you were the one when I saw you stripping at that joint in Nevada. What was it called again?"

"the cherry pie club."

"that's right. back then you were just, my lost little girl who had lost her entire family looking for someone to take care of her. now look at us. we started off in a cheap motel and now were on the 15th floor of the penthouse suite." He nuzzles his face into mine and says, "My girl."

He releases me and says, "put on that white thing I like with the straps. I'm gonna get some champagne, cause tonight were celebrating. Do you know what we can do with that information we just got? Do you know how rich we will be once we sell it to the highest bidder?"

I frown and try to look pissed off when I tell him, "I'm sorry baby. Amidst all the fighting I lost the flash drive in the blast."

Kai turns to look at me and I can see the vein in his forehead and neck begin to throb. Hes pissed. But he controls it well for right now. and it completely dissipates when I let him know about another opportunity to retrieve not just that information, but more vital one. he walks back over to me and smiles. its devious and evil. "I'm still going to punish you for fucking up today, but I promise you'll like it." he sniffs my hair and says, "let's just say, this is to balance things out for disappointing me today and brining me good new all at once."

The moment he steps out the office, I change into the white lingerie that he likes. I tell myself, in the end, it will all be worth it. then I will be free of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Steve Pov

"Tony! we have a big problem." Steve says as he storms into the compound with a tired looking Nat, Bucky, Sam, and Loki trailing behind him.

"Big problem doesn't define what this is. who was she?" Sam asks as they all take a seat in the conference room. none of them has had a chance to rest or get cleaned up. Steve called an emergency meeting as soon as they got on the jet.

Tony spins to face the tired team he pulls up the street footage of Cali jumping out of the window from the 15th floor and landing on her feet. Then glamouring into a man. but not before causing an explosion with one wave of her hand. Tony rewinds the video and pauses it just before she glamor's her looks. The entire team gets another look at the beautiful woman with fire in her eyes. tony points and says, "That is my sister."
