The big day

It was finally the big day, the day where I'll officially become Luna of the crescent moon pack , was I ready ? No I wasn't ready but I was ready to get it over with, the days leading up to today was hectic to say the least , Luna training, planning of the event , I was stressed to a point I was taking it out on Kylo, he was patient with me until he snapped , looking back on that day I had it coming , now I laugh at the memory, it was the reality check I needed, enough of going down memory lane, Kylo has already left to go make sure everything is good with security at the border, here I am sitting on a bar stool in my kitchen while a very pregnant Kayla complain about her morning sickness, Evie should be here any moment now to help me get dressed for the ceremony, she and Sandy has been the biggest support system for myself and Kylo , this few days tested our relationship, or better yet I tested our relationship, I allowed my insecurities get the best of me. There was a knock at the door, " come in I yelled ". Evie and Sandy walked in both filled with energy and excitement, they had a group of 2 girls , that Evie called her glam squad, one girl was a blonde with blue eyes , she bowed and introduced herself as Tina, the other girl had black curly hair with amber eyes , she also bowed and introduced herself as Stacy, they were young, teenagers even, Tina reminded me so much of my younger self , free spirited and brave , Tina said she would be doing my hair while Stacy does my make up , I offered them both cookies and milk , told them to eat before they got started, this also bought me some time to settle my rattling nerves, I had to convince myself several times already that this was all going to be okay , things between Kylo and I are still a little off, I maybe should have not had said some of the things I did like telling him I wish he would have left me at the hospital maybe I wouldn't be going through this right now, or telling him his life was perfect because he still has his parents, he was so hurt he locked himself in his office basement the whole night, and me being the coward I am I didn't even try to chase after him or apologize, he only slept in the bed last night because he wanted me to get a good night's sleep for the big day, I really miss him and I have to make it right
"Are you ready Luna , Tina's asked, " as ready as I can be " once Tina was finished with my hair Stacy did my make up , they we're great girls , confident and ambitious, I must tell Kylo we should open a beauty bar or something so they can show other's their talents while making a little money, I smile internally at myself , look at me already stepping into my role as Luna, " we were born for this" Mia said, she's barely spoken to me since the fight with Kylo, she said I was being a bitch to him for no reason, her exact words finally the girls took me to the mirror in my closet and I looked at myself , I was breathtakingly beautiful, Tina did my hair up in a pin curl ponytail with a side bang ,Stacy did a soft rosy smokey eye, natural beat, she used a lipstick with a light pink tint to match my dress, I hugged the girls telling them thank you, they left to go get ready to also attend the ceremony , Sandy, Evie and Kayla was already dressed, they all gathered around to help me with my dress, I opened the garment bag that my dress was delivered yesterday in,I pulled the dress out but was shocked at what I saw . The dress was ruined, it came out in pieces , I was about to start crying when Kayla told me not to because I would mess up my make up , I took deep breaths and started to count, Evie was on the phone yelling at Shelly , Kayla was crying not sure why , but I guess that's what happens when you're pregnant you become emotional for everything and sandy was trying to put the pieces of the dress back together, Evie finally hung up the phone with Shelly who said she handed the dress to a female who said she was good friends with the Luna and she would make sure she got the dress , Shelly was skeptical at first but the girl was persistent so eventually she gave in , Evie was fuming "That damn Amber, you just wait until all this is over"I've never seen Evie this upset I saw Kayla's eyes gloss over and I knew she was mind linking someone, once she was finished she explained Kylo felt my emotions so he wanted to know what was going on, she gave me an apologetic look, I did kinda feel a little hurt that he didn't mind link me , but whose fault was that
" yup that's all you damn fault our mate doesn't want us " not now Mia please , she huffed and blocked me out, I had to do something this day was all falling apart and the ceremony was scheduled to start in 30 minutes that left me with one option, Evie can I see your dress you wore to your ceremony, I quickly grabbed the bag with my ruined dress , I told them I'll explain everything later I then teleported us all to Evie's house every one but Kayla was looking at me surprised, Evie brought her dress I tried it on , the top fit perfectly but the bottom was small for me as I was a little thicker in that section than Evie, I used my magic to separate the top of Evie's dress then joined it with the tulle on my ruined dress , Everyone was looking at me speechless, finally I was finished , the dress had a v neck lace , long sleeved top then the bottom was a tulle with train and a slit , it was beautiful, you look beautiful Evie said while wiping her tears , Kayla and Sandy left to go get seated, I put on my heels , then sprayed some perfume, I took a deep breath this was it , I entwined my arm with Evie and we started our Journey, her Luna journey ends today while mine begins,
