Kylo's Pov

Good night Kylo, was the last message I got from my mate. I was hoping she would have told me she missed me too, but I was grateful none the less for the progress we have made, Sandy said she hasn't opened up to anyone the way she has opened up to me so far, so that's a good thing, I don't know how much longer before I ask her to come back here with me, I can handle Robert, I just don't want to scare her, I want to do everything when she's ready and comfortable, I wonder what happened to her, I know her father was an Alpha based on what she told me when she gave me her shirt, I'll wait on her to tell me her story, I just want her to be here so I can protect her, Axel wants me to go back there and sleep in the parking lot again, but I can't do that I refuse, I showered then made my way to my office to finish up some paperwork, Axel keeps pacing back and forth, in my head giving me a damn headache, I guess I'm sleeping in the parking lot again tonight, and just like that, here I am parked in the parking lot of the hospital stalking my mate, because my wolf was tripping.

I looked at the time on the dash board of my car and it read 2:15 am, I started to make myself comfortable, when I got a call from Natalia, I picked up on the second ring , but I was not expecting to hear screaming and a man's voice , based on the conversation I was hearing a man was trying to sedate my mate so he could rape her , Axel was seeing red, I allowed him to take full control, flung the door to the hospital so hard it banged on the wall creating a big hole in the wall from the door handle but I didn't care, the receptionist and a few guards tried to stop me, but the way I growled at them told them to leave me the fuck alone, I know they were still trying to catch up to me, but them being human was no match for my werewolf enhanced speed, once I got to Natalia's room I barged right in, the image in front of me sent me and my wolf into killing frenzy , we wanted blood, a tall muscular man was laying over Natalia's body , choking her , while a very sedated, weak Natalia tried to fight him off , her clothes were torn in half and her hair was a mess, her face was bloody and swollen, I yanked the man off my mate so hard and threw him against the wall, I gripped my hands around his neck , not letting go until I saw the last bit of life leave his body , I then rushed to my mate, she looked at me and smiled before she closed her eyes , please my little butterfly stay with me , I'm getting you help , I snatched her up bridal style and proceeded to walk out with her , by this time the guards were standing at the door looking at me with shock, guilt, anger and other emotions I could care less about , I need to get mate out of here , the receptionist finally spoke up , "Sir you can't take her " she said with fear evident in her voice , "who's going to stop me ?" I asked while I continued walking without even as much as sparing her a glance.

Once I was on my way back to the pack house , I mind link the pack doctor telling him to set up the Luna's room , one thing I loved about him was he never pry he just did what he needed to do to save his patient, John and his team were already at the front the hospital waiting on the arrival of their Luna,once the car was placed in park, I gently pick her up and placed her on the gurney and I wheeled her into the room, it took everything in me not to follow them, but I know I wouldn't do any good but growl at them preventing them from doing their job ,I mind link Mason asking him to come by the pack hospital, then I put my block up before he could ask anymore questions, I was sitting down holding my head in my hands pleading to the mood Goddess to save my mate , when I felt someone tap my shoulders, I looked up to see a concerned Mason,I motioned for him to take a seat next to me, we sat there in silence for a few more minutes before I finally broke silence

" I found her " I finally said with my head still boring holes in the ground, I felt somewhat guilty for not telling him sooner, he was my best friend
"Found who?" He asked
"My mate, I know I should have told you sooner , but it's complicated "I retorted
"Complicated??" He repeated , with a tone of indifference
I sighed and ran my hand through my hair for the 100th time since I've been sitting here, I found her at the mental hospital that Auntie Sandy works and she's going through a lot , I promise I was going to tell you when I figured the time was right, I proceeded to tell him everything leading up to now ,
He didn't say anything, he just got up and walked outside, I figured he needed a moment to process everything, Mason walked back as soon as the doctor walked out, " Alpha we need to talk in my office, he said with a worried look on his face "
I told Mason to come along, I didn't want to keep anymore secrets between us , plus if my wolf gets too angry based on the information the doctor wanted to tell me ,Mason was there to help stop me from killing him , we walked in and closed the door , the doctor sat behind his Mahogany desk, stacked with papers, we proceeded to sit down on the chairs across from him
"Alpha there isn't any easy way to say this so I'm just going to come out with it , whatever they sedated her with was clearly not given by a medical personnel because they injected her with too much, I was able to pump some out of her system, but she might be out for a week to a month or more , depending on how fast her body burns the rest of it off , her wolf if dormant , and seems it's been like that for a long time , as I found traces of drugs used to suppress her wolf in her body, her hands and legs were littered with needle holes, like they were using her for some kind of research, her back is filled with scars due to them whipping her , she's going to be okay, I just don't know when, I don't know if she will ever get her wolf back."
By the time he was finished, I already flipped his desk, punched holes in his walls and was fucking angry ,how could they do that to her , I will burn that place down , and kill ever last one of those filthy animals that laid a finger on her , they had hell to pay I was about to punch another hole in the wall when Mason finally spoke , " Stop it this instant Kylo" we will get revenge on everyone of them , but right now , your mate clearly needs you , so get your self together and go be with her , I'll clean this up " and with that I walked out the office went straight to the room where my mate was laying down , her face was swollen, she had all kind of tubes inserted in her hand, a nurse walked
"hi Alpha, I am the Luna's personal nurse , I wanted to give you a run down of her care plan , she was malnourished and dehydrated, so we are providing her with the electrolytes and nutrients she needs via IV , which will also help her to past the rest of the sedative faster, she said while wiping Natalia's face
"She's beautiful isn't she , I asked her while staring at my mate, she was battered and beaten but she was still the most beautiful woman in the world , I tried to hold back the tears from falling, I was an Alpha, a murderer ,a savage beast, but here I was crying, my mate shattered and humbled me and she didn't even know it , I was deep in my thoughts when I felt Mason pat me on the shoulder and told me it was going to be okay , and he was there for me , he said he would help out with my pack duties so I could spend some more time here , I also told him and the hospital staff to keep this a secret for now .
