Preparing for war

Kylo's pov

After everyone returned home, I started doing everything to prepare my warriors for the upcoming war , while balancing being a father , after my month leave from work , I decided to move work to my basement so I could be closer to my pups, call me over protective or overbearing I really don't care, I just know what makes me and my wolf happy and that's being home with my little family, at home I was gentle, soft spoken and loving once I stepped outside my door I had to switch to Alpha mode where I am now stern , powerful and assertive , my little Alexandria and Love had me wrapped around their little fingers everyone knows it too , Alex was the baby version of me with his mother's eyes he even scowled up his face like I do , he had my dimples when he smiles , he has his mother wrapped around his fingers especially when he smiled, she was doing a great and I reminded her of that every chance I get, she made me want to be a better man, she challenges me to be better partner, and I honestly hated the fact that we both had to go to they stupid war , but I'll do everything to make sure she makes it home safe even it that meant I had to die, and Axel agreed with me
"Pups needs mate, they need their mother , if it was up to Axel alone Natalia would stay here and not come with us , but I know we couldn't stop her and it was her duty to lead this war , a duty given by the Moon Goddess, so I will trust the moon Goddess, that she'll spare our lives to be with our pups until we are old and die of old age
"What are you doing out here in the cold , Natalia's sweet voice invaded my thoughts and pulling me to the present
"I needed some fresh air I told her
"Well I was getting a lot of emotions through the bond , worry, love , hope, anger and a few more , care to tell me what's wrong she asked with her hands folded
"I was just thinking about our life we created , and how great of a job you are doing , I was thinking about the war and trusting the moon Goddess to spare our lives to come back to our pups , I left out the part where if it comes down to it I'll sacrifice my life so that she can come home to our pups ,
"It's going to be okay , we're going to grow old and gray , plus I think you got a few more pups in your back , she teased
"How much more pups do you want I asked her
"1 or 2 more, maybe another boy so we can have two girls and two boys she said ,
"Okay we can start practicing if you want , I said while rubbing her now erected nipple
"She slapped my hands , sir we have pups to look after now get in here before you get sick and we have to put off this war again, I followed behind her pouting like a lost puppy , babe grow up
"Yes daddy grow up , love chimed in while brushing her dolls hair,the older Love got the more she looked like us , the more she looked like Alexandria, I know we would soon start getting questions from our close family members about it, that a conversation we would have then as for now I'm just taking advantage of these memorable moments , my pocket vibrated, reminding me of the phone that was in my pocket, it rarely got that usage, as I mind link whoever I wanted , most people that called this phone was people outside my pack or if someone inside my pack needed me and my block was up
"Hello Alpha Knight , I said upon pick up
"Alpha knight it's The king Theodore's beta and I'm calling to let you know we got to war next week , I'll email over the details
" thank you and good night I said before hanging up
I sent a group mind link to my Luna , Betas ,Gammas and Deltas telling them we go to war next week will give them more details when I get it
"I'm happy it's next week, so we can get it over with so we can move on with life, I know we will lose people but every one deserves a worry free life Natalia said and she was right, whatever life is after the war is unknown, but at least we can move forward with life , the week went by and on Tuesday of the following week we started to evacuate the elderly, and anyone with pups to the under ground bunks , seeing that pops would be staying back he'll we Alpha and mom will be Luna until we return , they will, keep everyone in the underground bunks until we return, it can either be opened with the key I have or someone has to open it from the inside, I would be dumb to leave my pack without protection, once all the elderly and family with pups has been safely situated then well have she wolves next, after that we'll have the men who can't fight, my pups will be the last to go as I can't bare to part with them and I know Lia was feeling the same way, today was day two on evacuating my pack to the underground bunks , I also made sure they had enough food and water to last at least a week , even though we should be back before then , if not knows the drill he opens the door if we haven't opened it after 4 days, Natalia was off training with Amaris while I was with Shawn and Josh assigning warriors based on who would coming and who would be staying here to guard the pack , Amaris and Natalia did put spell around the pack borders so no one can enter, but just incase someone does the guards are here it was 10:30 when we both got home to find our pups wide awake and looking at us, I think they can feel our emotions Natalia said while picking up Alexandria, I know Alexandria has magic powers and she knows it too, I came in once and her bassinet was floating, Natalia still thinks I imagined it but I know what I saw, they say Alex has but his Alpha genes are dominant so they have to wait until he's older to tell, I picked up my look alike,
"Hey my little Alpha wolf I cooed , causing him to grin
" I tucked love in, and I already made enough bottles to last for the night , see yall love birds in the morning
"Mom whose walking you home , I asked her with a concerned voice
"My husband if that's okay with you she said with sarcasm
Soon there was a knock at the door and my father's scent flooded my nose
"Hey old man I greeted
"Hey son , ready for the war he asked
"As ready as I can be I said
"And that's all you can do son, and you've done an Amazon job as making sure your pack is ready , everything else is out of your control, oh we'll make sure to take care of our precious grand kids , so don't worry about them when you're out there, just make sure you come back safely to them , that's the same thing i told Kayla and Mason , plus I need both my pups back home , y'all might be grown but yall still my pups , he said causing Axel to roll his eyes, I'm a grown wolf not a pup Axel said feigning hurt , love you guys and see y'all tomorrow , when I hear stories about other Alphas and how they treated their heirs , I couldn't imagine my father treated me with such love and respect, and here I was one of the most feared Alpha, one of the richest and smartest and everything I learned was from him, and I'll do the same with Alex and when it's his turn to take over the pack , and if I have another son , he'll be trained to be to operate as an Alpha, my daughters will be taught how to operate as a Luna , so pups will know how to be compassionate, but assertive, stern but kind when they have to, Alex was now fast asleep in my arms so I took him upstairs to lay him in his bassinet,Alexandria was still wide awake, she's really feeding off the energy of the pack Lia said, I think she's going to have a gift of reading people's emotions , similar to Love "I mean Love is technically our child , you see how much she looks like Alexandria "yes I saw that too , I thought I was tripping, can you take her I need to go have a conversation with Selene , she summoned me twice already and I told her I was with the baby, I took Dria and cradle her in my arms , Natalia disappeared in the closet, if I'm not back in an by dawn wake me up , she yelled , I hate when she has to speak to Selene , it scares me what if she gets stuck there, I rocked Alexandria until her little breathing even out , see all you needed was daddy's touch I told her before putting her in her bassinet, I couldn't sleep so I decided to do fold their laundry , Evie did today .

Natalia pov
I laid down in the closet and rub the necklace around my neck, soon I was I standing in front of Selena, she was sitting on her thrown
"Welcome my daughter she said
"Sorry for the delay, I had to feed my pup
"No need to explain, I should have checked before I summoned you, these pups are our future she said , making me raise and eyebrow
"That's a long way from now , they'll have a normal life till then
"Anyways , as you know I can't tell to the faith of this war, nor can I intervene unless it's last resort, but I can advice you , be prepared for every and anything, trust your mate and have faith in me and the powers I gave you , also Amaris is there as your second in command allow her to use her powers I gave her as well, and at first I wasn't going to give her a mate, but I heard your prayers, and Kaiden he was the perfect match for her,
"Do you have any questions for me she asked me "
"No, but I have a request , please spare one of our lives to come back home to our pups ,
"You follow what I said and both of you will come back to your pups
"And tell Kylo yes Alex has magic powers and yes Alexandria did make her bassinet float , I suppressed their powers until they get to age one ,they would be too much with powers now , I got tired of fixing the stuff they broke when Evie was in the kitchen, or the stuff they would hide letting Evie and Sandy think they were losing their minds , atleast when the get to one and can communicate, it will be easier to control

"Good luck my child , she said before pushing back to earth , I needed to find Kylo so I could apologize, I didn't see him in the room , but his scent took me to the nursery where I found him folding clothes
"Baby I'm sorry about doubting you , he looked at me confused so I told him everything Selene told me
"I knew I wasn't tripping , but thanks for apologizing,
I'm glad she decided to suppress this magic powers , imagine having to control new born pups with magic powers , I fear we would be in a lot of trouble
"Yes but we would have figured it out like we figure out everything else life throws at us I told him while taking a seat next to him, I took some of the tiny clothes and started folding them , this was starting to become a form of therapy for me ,I looked at my mate, he was folding the clothes but his mind was elsewhere, I took his hands in mine
"Baby come back to me, I can through your eyes that you're mine has traveled, what's wrong
"Just thinking about this whole war that we have a in a few hours and how satisfying it's going to be when I kill Robert, you could hear the venom in his tone , he was truly out for blood, as much I wanted to kill Robert I knew this was something Kylo needed to do, we sat there folding more tiny clothes , I knew sleep wasn't present for neither of us , but if we wanted to be at our best we had to sleep ,"baby let's call it a night I told him, I took his hands in mine and pulled him up, when we got into our room the twins were still sleeping, thier diapers were still dry , so we hugged each other, searching for the mate bond to comfort us and make us fall into a dreamless sleep
