8:57 AM

"Good morning," Travis hummed as he pulled Taylor closer to him. A small smile rose to her lips as she felt her body move into his.

"Good morning," she whispered, stroking the side of his face. She placed a simple kiss to his lips, as the feeling of his hand ran up and down her bare back.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked, his eyes closing once again. Taylor draped her leg over his, intertwining their legs together.

"Mhm," she replied with a happy hum of her own. "Best sleep I've had in a long time," she told him.

"I wonder what factored into that." He opened his eyes again and smiled happily when his green eyes met her blue ones. "You're so fucking beautiful, baby." Taylor let out a giggle at his words as she pulled him closer into another sleepy morning kiss. Travis's hands began to roam her body as their kiss deepened. He rolled her onto her back and spread her legs slightly before gently pushing into her.

She let out a small moan, surprised by the feeling of him entering her condomless. "Baby," She said against his lips. He responded to her with a hum before burying his face into her neck, planting multiple kisses there.  "You're not wearing a condom," she murmured as he continued to move in and out of her slowly.

"I'll pull out, baby. Don't worry." Her body stiffened beneath him, and almost instantly, Travis could sense the atmosphere shift. He leaned up and looked her in her eyes, seeing that the tears were starting to well up in them. Quickly, he removed himself from her body. "What's wrong, baby?"

She shook her head quickly. "Nothing," she sniffled.

"Tay, don't lie to me. What happened? What did I do?" He asked her, his voice filled with concern as he moved to lay next to her.

"Nothing, baby. I'm sorry. You can keep going," she tried to reassure him, but he wasn't buying it.

"Baby, no. I'm not going to keep going. Something I did or said made you upset. Talk to me." He told her, his eyes pleading with her to let him in, to tell him everything that was going on. "What's going on in that pretty little brain of yours, baby?" He asked softly. "Talk to me," he begged. The amount of concern and worry in his eyes broke her. She had so much trauma and baggage that she was piling onto him, and she hated herself for it. She hated that he had to work through her issues with her, that he obviously loved her so much, still, that he was willing to do it even if he shouldn't have to. "Tay... baby..."

"It was..." she started, but she stopped. Letting out a sigh. "I don't want to keep piling things on you, Trav. I've been through so much, and you don't deserve to have all of my weight on you." Taylor told him. "Maybe us being together right now is too soon. Maybe you deserve better than someone that is worn and battered."

"Do you think I would have asked you to be my girlfriend if I felt it was too much?" Travis asked her. Her eyes shifted down so they were no longer connected to his. "Tay, I have loved you since I was ten years old. I want to take any weight you're tired of bearing off of you. I want you to lean on me. Baby, you can tell me anything. Tell me what's going on so I can fix it the best way I know how." He tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Don't shut me out."

Taylor took a desk breath as his eyes reconnected with his. He thumbed away a tear that was starting to roll from her eye, his eyes pleading with her, begging her to tell him what was going on. "He just..." she paused for a second and sniffled. "He just said that he was giving me and Michael everything, and it was the least I could do for him since I didn't do anything else. And you've been buying me and Michael so much stuff... and..."
