"Mr. Frank! What's going on, man?" Travis said to the man walking down the hallway towards him and Taylor. Mr. Frank was one of Travis' favorite people on campus. He was good with the other staff members and great with the kids. He was one of the best people on the custodial staff, and Travis knew if he needed anything, he could call on Mr. Frank for assistance, and he would get it done before anyone else on the team.

"My man!" Frank said back, giving Travis a friendly handshake and a hug. "How was your summer? And who is this lovely lady you have with you? You've never brought anyone in to help you." Frank gave Taylor a warm smile, which she returned.

"Summer was great, not ready for it to be over quite yet, honestly," Travis replied. He smiled when Mr. Frank mentioned Taylor. He brought Taylor's hand up to his lips, kissing her hand quickly. "This is Taylor, my girlfriend."

"Well, she is very beautiful. I'm happy for you, man. It's nice to meet you, Ms. Taylor," Mr Frank said to the blonde-haired woman.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Frank," Taylor replied. Mr. Frank patted Travis on the back and went back on his way to whatever he was doing. Travis and Taylor started walking down the hallway again, until they reached Travis's classroom. Travis took his classroom key and opened the door, allowing Taylor to walk in before him. He walked in behind her, and put the door stop in the door to prop it open. "Why do you have so much paper on the walls?" Taylor asked, looking around the room.

"It's a life hack. When you're in good with Mr. Frank, you get away with a couple of things so life is easier for you when you come back after the summer," Travis said. He walked into the room and grabbed the corner of one of the pieces of paper that covered the wall. He pulled the paper back, ripping it down from the wall, revealing his classroom decorations and posters still hanging neatly on the wall. "Cover it up, and you don't have to put it up again." He continued to take the paper down that was covering everything. All of his Social Studies and Science posters started to appear as she took foot after foot of paper from the walls.

"Who helped you decorate in here?" Taylor asked, knowing that he had to be someone other than him that made his classroom look nice, since she had seen his apartment and the decor was limited.

"My girl who I was seeing at the time and my mom mostly," Travis said nonchalantly.

"Kayla?"

"No, her name was Renee," Travis said. "Me and her were actually trying to see if dating was an option for us. I just wasn't feeling it," he admitted, taking the last of the paper down from the front wall of the classroom. "She didn't take it hard, she didn't become a delusional stalker either. We're pretty cordial now if we see each other. We don't cross paths often or anything."

"Oh. You've never talked about her yet," Taylor said, thinking about a few conversations they had about their past. He told her about a couple of other girls that he dated, but the name Renee never came up.

"I don't really think about her unless I see her. She was a sweet girl, just not very rememberable," Travis said, taking another large piece of paper from the wall, revealing even more posters and decorations.

"So what exactly do you have to do if all of your decorations and posters are up already?" Taylor asked, going over to his desk and sitting in his chair. She spun around in his chair once before rolling in and making herself comfortable.

"Nothing much, honestly. But I do want to make sure everything is in order before we go to Ohio for our little family trip, since when we get back I start work. We have development meetings before the kids start," Travis told her. He didn't want to have anything to worry about while he was spending the last bits of summer with his girl and his boy. "I'm going to put the desk how I want them, make sure I have my materials in order, just in case I have to tell Mrs. Carter something needs to be ordered."
