Max and Ziggy Meet

Third POV

"What the fuck." Asher muttered looking back and forth at Ziggy and Max.

"How are their two Ziggy's here?" Asher thought bewildered and slightly scared as the two girls glared at one another.

Max is the first to break eye contact and look over to see unconscious Maya laid in bed.

"Maya!"

Asher moves out of the way in time before Max can bump into him. He watches as Ziggy surprisingly moves out of the way.

The room is filled with tension.

Asher and Ziggy watch as Max comforts Maya.

All the terrifying thoughts Max had throughout those painful days disappeared now that she sees in front of her an alive Maya. Despite her being injured what matters most to Max is that Maya is alive and getting better.

"Okay I'm going to be the one to say it. Who are you? and why do you look exactly like Ziggy?" Asher asked breaking the silence in the room.

Max looks up and sees Ziggy watching while the unknown boy looks confused.

Max ignores him and turns her attention to Ziggy.

Max feels conflicted as the two glared at each other again.

She felt angry remembering how Ziggy treated Maya in the beginning of camp but also gratitude for saving Maya from the killer.

"My name is Max-"

Mayfield." Ziggy finishes.

Asher eyes widened realization hitting him that Maya's girlfriend is standing in front of them.

Asher so badly wanted to tell her that Maya talked about her to him and Ziggy but stopped because Ziggy would ask how is that possible and him not being friends with Maya.

"And your Ziggy Berman." Max asked in an obvious tone as she walked around the bed and towards Ziggy.

The two stood face-face.

"Maya mentioned you." Max said looking behind her to see Maya still asleep and then looks back at Ziggy, "She mentioned how you treated her badly even though she saved you from that bully and would try to befriend you. I didn't get why Maya wanted to be your friend so badly why she saved you, but now I know why. She only did all that because you looked exactly like me if you didn't then she would've never bothered so hard to become your friend."

Asher mouth dropped hearing what Max told Ziggy no fear in her words as she smirks at Ziggy.

"Did I hit a nerve Berman." Max taunted.

Asher looks down and sees Ziggy hands clenched into fists.

"Oh fuck." Asher muttered.

"Interesting that Maya mentioned me when you were hardly mentioned at all the only time she talked about you and her was when me and her left the campfire and after we pulled a prank together but other than that it was like you didn't exist to her. Can't blame her since she had me to hang out with which is better than whatever you and her do together." Ziggy taunted back.

"You know what, Berman?" Max started, "You can keep telling yourself that but let's be honest if it came down to who Maya really knows and wants to be with it's me. You don't truly know her like I do nor do you have the bond like me and her do."

Before Ziggy could reply back the door is opened again this time it's a tall man with brown hair wearing a doctor coat.

His smile turns into confusion as he looks at Ziggy and Max.

"Am I interrupting something?" The doctor asks in a knowing tone his attention specifically on Ziggy and Max.

"Why don't you three go wait outside while I check on Maya before I go to the waiting room and call for Maya's family." The doctor tells the three teens.

A/N
So I hope y'all enjoyed the argument between Max and Ziggy I tired to make it as good as possible. I was planning on their being at least one punch but a certain someone didn't want it to happen but that doesn't mean it won't happen eventually.
