Unexpected Visitor

Asher POV

I stand up and turn around to see a furious Ziggy standing in the doorway.

"Umm... I-"

I stop talking when Ziggy closes the door behind her and walks towards me. She pushes me out of the way and checks on Maya.

"I didn't hurt her." I told her knowing that is the reason why she is checking on Maya, "I would never hurt her."

She turns around and glares at me.

I immediately look away.

"How Maya was able to handle an angry Ziggy Berman and not get scared will always be a mystery." I thought to myself remembering the times I would see Maya handle a furious Ziggy and not get scared.

"I asked you a question. What are you doing here?" Ziggy repeated herself.

I close my eyes and exhale and inhale to calm myself down.

I open my eyes and look at Ziggy without breaking eye contact.

"I'm here because I wanted to check on Maya that's all I wasn't planning on-"

"Why would you want to check on Maya? You don't even know her." Ziggy asks interrupting me unconvinced that I'm telling the truth.

I clenched my hands having grown tired of Ziggy's rude behavior towards me.

"I do know her!" I shouted letting out all the frustration I been holding back since realizing that me altering Ziggy memories made her forget about me and the same results will happen to Maya and Cindy once they wake up they won't remember me as well, and part to blame for letting Nick manipulate me into altering their memories.

My eyes widened realizing what I yelled to Ziggy.

Before I could come up with a lie on what I meant Ziggy falsely chuckles not taken back by my outburst.

"Just because she saved you from her cousin does not mean you and her are friends." Ziggy says and steps closer to me the two of us face-face, "Maya only saved you because she wasn't going to stand by and let Sunnyvale campers let alone her cousin bully Shadysiders. You were just a nobody camper that she saved nothing more."

I take a step back as sadness starts building up inside me no longer did I feel angry. What Ziggy said to me couldn't help but remind me of what my dad tells me whenever he is drunk.

"I'm a nobody."

I look back at Ziggy and all I see as she looks at me is distrust and anger it hurt me just like when she stared at me in fear when I had to kill Tommy recalling what she called me.

"You're a monster."

I somberly nod and walk towards the door just as about to put my hand in the doorknob. The door is opened and standing in front of me was a exact copy look alike of Ziggy Berman.

A/N 

Sorry for not updating yesterday but I have finally updated!!! The next chapter is gonna be one of my favorites to write.

Get ready for Ziggy and Max meeting each other for the first time cause its gonna be interesting meeting.

Now if yall read my author note I will possibly be writing a Eloise Bridgerton. I have yet to write the first chapter but if I like how it turns out then I'll publish the story.
