"Disgusting fool."Kassia muttered under her breath,watching from the balcony of her bedchamber as her father paid the Queen of Corinth another visit. "What a king he is."
It only been a month,yet her damnable father already flew across the continent to find a mortal to buried himself into.It was so disgusting,so dishonourable that it makes her grimancing without control.She watches,for a bit,how her father in disguise to King Periander,repeatedly pretended to be the husband of the queen after seeing her bathing in the river alone and apparently,leading a horrible life under an abusive husband.
As if Zeus is any fucking better than that tyrant of Corinth.These acts of cuckolding these men will one day before met of a serious opposition,Kassia is so sure of it.
Kassia was about to leave the balcony,not interested and for the sake of her already shattered mind,to see her father bedding this woman.But what caught the corner her eyes was a sudden bright light her father suddenly emitted,showing that married woman a tiny bit of his divinity and real form. "What is his problem?."
Her eyes shifted to the familiar presence,she saw Apollo also looking down upon Corinth trying to figure out what is going on from his place.He likely did not see her,so very focused on seeking the truth of the situation.
That is,when Kassia felt her divine guardian's instinct being on high alert,and that is when she saw Hera also watching down to the earth.
Kassia decided not to interfere.
But Apollo decides differently.
She watches him,as he went down there through a mirror to give their father a warning,that Hera is watching them,watching him commit another one of his adultery.Truthfully it was a curious thing how Hera still is responding and acting in the similar way every time Zeus did this to her.
Had it been Kassia,she would have remained silent,and her marriage would be nothing more than mutual agreements and her reason to enjoy the title as the queen and live the best of her life.
Then again,Hera,despite her many flaws,is not a hypocrite.Similar thing cannot be said about the supposed king of the gods,Zeus however.
The second her father arrives in Olympus in hurry,he looked up and his eyes met with her.He looks a bit upset,likely because she did not interfere and protect the queen of Corinth by blinding Hera's sight from her,as she always do.That won't happen here,Kassia as the patron goddess of queens would never choose one queen and forsaken the other.
She turned her head around dismissively,there is no possible way in both heaven and hell would ever she willingly interfere into another of her father's marital spat,Hera was not even her own mother.Themis truly saved herself many troubles,insults and embarrassments the day she left that god,even with a little powerful trinket in her womb.
She return her eyesight back to Apollo down on earth in Corinth,rarely enough would she be discreetly watching over someone like a hawk,but she did this time.Given her domain over humanity as the creator,she could actually hear whatever was said to Electra if she wishes too.
