Chapter 29

Third person point of view

Today is the Christmas event that will be held as Ayara and I prepared ourselves in formal attire and ready to go.

"You look great, Lim" Ayara said while fixing Mikhael's outfit.

"And you look greater, Ayara" Mikhael responded and put Ayara hands down.

The private chauffeur has arrived and Mikhael as well as Ayara have gone by downstairs to leave immediately. Collie, Gian, Johan, Ria, Shana and Sophia were already there and waiting for them to arrive. When it comes to events, Mikhael and Ayara always come at last.

30 minutes after when they arrived at the venue and went inside. As soon as they entered, they were greeted by tons of invited people inside the venue as if they were an artist. Well, Ayara is a model and one and only daughter of Arcallana's and for Mikhael, the daughter of Lim's. They looked for a table that was not occupied but Ria called them so they went to their table.

"Happy new year, Mikhael our buddy" Johan said teasingly.

"Not again Johan, I'm holding back my emotion and trying not to punch your face" Mikhael responded so Johan sat down immediately and pressed her lips tightly as Cole laughed at her expression.

Mikhael pulled a chair to assist Ayara to sit down as Ayara gladly thanked her.

The event just went on and there were a lot of people enjoying it and a calm music background. Mikhael was talking with Gian when dad suddenly called her so mikhael came to him.

"Ayara anak, I know nagmamadali ako pero gusto ko ng apo, yung kuya mo wala ring balak e" Mr. Lim said and Mikhael can't help but to chuckle.

"Dad naman, you know na arrange marriage lang ito and you think na papayag si Ayara dito?" Mikhael responded and Mr. Lim sigh heavily.

"Pag bigyan mo na ang papa, pasko naman anak eh ito na regalo mo sakin" Mr. Lim responded and Mikhael laughed.

"Dad, please lang" Mikhael said and someone approached Mr. Lim so she have to give a privacy.

Mikhael was about to walk towards Gian when Ayara suddenly pulled Mikhael so she couldn't do anything but let her take her somewhere. They left the venue and they found theirselves in a park.

"Why did you take me here?" Mikhael asked while following her.

"I don't know, gusto ko lang magpahangin" she responded without looking at Mikhael.

"Yung totoo?" Mikhael asked with a straight face.

"Jeremy was there, ayoko siyang makausap baka uminit na naman yang ulo mo sakaniya" Ayara responded and glanced at Mikhael.

"Pero the truth is, dinala kita dito kasi may naalala ako" she said.

"We used to spend Christmas sa park before kahit gabi na, kahit saang park, remember?" She added and Mikhael nodded.

"Dati nag-aaway pa tayo kasi iisa lang yung swing non" Ayara said as Mikhael chuckled.

"Pero nagpapaubaya ka, kaya ikaw tagatulak tapos lalakasan mo pa hanggang sa tumalsik ako" Ayara added and they both laughed. They both waited for this moment, for them to reunited again like before and laughed uncontrollably.
