Johnnie smiled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him as he listened to Jake's breathing slow down as he fell asleep.
He gently kissed the top of Jake's head, feeling grateful for the love and comfort that he brought into his life. He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep as well, feeling safe and happy in Jake's arms.
Jake woke up in the middle of the night. Just admiring Johnnie as he slept. He finally felt found. Understood. He plays with the emo's hair and occasionally kisses him.
Johnnie stirred slightly in his sleep, a small smile forming on his face as he felt Jake's kisses and fingers in his hair. He subconsciously snuggled closer to Jake, still asleep but clearly enjoying the attention.
Jake leaned his head down, softly kissing Johnnie's neck. He finally felt the tension be washed away. Happy that their lost hearts were finally found in togetherness.
Johnnie let out a soft sigh, his eyes fluttering open as he felt Jake's lips on his neck. He smiled sleepily, looking up at Jake with a loving expression. "Mmm... good morning, baby. Or is it still nighttime?"
"Still night." Jake replied, grabbing his phone. He turned it on, checking the clock. "5:43."
Johnnie chuckled softly, stretching his arms and yawning."Still early then. You couldn't sleep, huh?"
"No, i was sleeping but i woke up. My alarm is set for eight though." Jake replied, setting his phone down and kissing Johnnie's cheek. "Probably because I've been binge drinking caffeine."
Johnnie laughed, shaking his head. "You and your fucking caffeine addiction."
"Hey, im working on it. Alright?" Jake laughed sleepily. "Right now im working on getting back on my nicotine gum, then I'll try the caffeine quitting again."
Johnnie chuckled again, playfully poking Jake's chest. "You're always working on something, aren't you? But I admire your determination, baby. I know you can do it. Just don't go crazy on the nicotine gum."
"i know i know" Jake replied. Kissing Johnnie's head. "i always have to work on something. Its my brain, i always have to do something. Its like a mission. I need to complete little tasks but sometimes i get fixated on them for hours." Jake laughed.
Johnnie smiled, enjoying the feeling of Jake's kisses on his head."I understand, baby. You're a busy guy. Always on the go, always doing something. But sometimes it's important to take a break and just relax, you know? You can't work all the time."
"I know..." Jake replied, "So today..." He grabbed his phone, shutting the alarm off. "I guess i can sleep in... just this once, but i hate doing it. But i wanna stay in bed with my baby."
Johnnie smiled warmly, pulling Jake closer to him under the covers." I'm glad you're going to stay in bed with me. I don't want you to leave, I want to cuddle all day."
Jake laughed, "Alright. I guess i can take a day off from routine, but if i freak-out then im going back on it. Ok?"
Johnnie chuckled, nodding his head. "Alright, baby. I understand. If you start feeling anxious or like you need to do something, we can get up and do your routine. But for now, let's just relax and enjoy each other's company."
"Alright," Jake smiled at this as he closed his eyes. Laying his head onto Johnnie's chest as he closed his eyes.
