Shuichi feels bad

PHASE:

[I feel... guilty]

(Shuichi felt upset after letting Kokichi go, he cared for him truly but I guess Kokichi didn't see it, right? Or did he do something wrong..)

"He's just overreacting. Let him be." Shuichi said with a small smirk on his lips.

"That.. that sounded rude."

(Shuichi got up off his bed and walked up to the hallway to where his locker was)

"What am I doing? I don't need anything."

Again..?

Kaede...??

(Out of nowhere Kaede comes up to Shuichi and poked his shoulder trying to get his attention)

"Hey, Saihara! It's been awhile, how are you?" Kaede asked with a huge smile on her face, clearly excited to see Shuichi again

(Shuichi startled a bit, he wasn't expecting Kaede to poke him like that out of all a sudden, he turned behind him to see Kaede very happy. He waved)

"Oh hey Kaede, what are you doing here?" Shuichi asked

(Kaede chuckled, she thought Shuichi hear her, she asked how he was and not what she was doing here but she laughed it off)

"Oh haha, I just saw you not so far away, I thought I could have a little conversation with you, y'know?"

(Shuichi scratched the back on his neck and awkwardly chuckled)

"Ah.. I see, well is everything alright with you and Rantaro?" Shuichi asked, he knew that Rantaro and Kaede broke up, I guess he was just checking on her right? But what about Kokichi? It's not like he cares for him..

(Kaedes smile faded as she heard Shuichi mention Shuichi's name)

"Oh no.. I said something wrong didn't I?.."

(Shuichi had to come up with words but he struggled to find the right words to say)

"Oh.. uh, yeah we are fine. We broke up actually.. but no big deal, I'm fine now" Kaede said with a forced smile

(Shuichi noticed her fake smile but didn't comment on it)

"Shit.. I shouldn't have said that.."
