I sat in front of Vee silently. She was tapping on the table, waiting for me to talk.
"You can tell me anything, Astro."
"I know..."
"So tell me. I don't have all day, no offense."
"I got... Badly hurt yesterday... BUT IT'S OKAY because Sprout healed me!!"
"Who." Asked Vee, her anger showing.
"It's okay! It's not... It doesn't matter!"
"So it WAS Dandy!" She frowned.
"What?! I didn't say that!"
"Astro, you blush every time you think about him. I noticed!"
"What?! I do?" I asked, embarrassed.
"Oh, once that flower gets out of his room I'll..."
"No, Vee! It was my fault! I provoked him!"
"Tell me what happened, in detail. And show me where he hurt you."
I slowly took my blanket off and showed the healed scars of where Dandy scratched me.
"Oh god... Tell me everything." Said Vee, trying to calm down.
"Well... I wanted to apologize to him for..."
"What for? Speak up!"
"Well, i tried to hug him and... He didn't like it... And he seemed upset so i wanted to say sorry..."
"That's no reason for him to be upset! Stop feeling guilty for what he does!" Said Vee, getting angry again. "Ugh... Anyways, continue."
"And he left his door unlocked, but when i went in i found him asleep...."
"Hah, that forgetful flower! Well, anything that happened from then is his fault for forgetting to lock his door!"
"I just touched his petals a bit and... I thought he liked it, but then he woke up and ... He was very mad..." I blushed a bit talking about him, but i continued. "Then he twisted and attacked me... And then he forced me to drink a cup of Ichor! I'm scared I'll twist any moment..."
"Dandy has NO explanation for hurting you! And that Ichor... It seems you're fine. I'd say you'd have twisted already if it were bad."
"Well... Thanks, Vee. But please, don't... Talk to Dandy about this..."
"I won't say a word. I'll just snap his neck!"
"Vee!"
"Okay, fine. But promise me you won't be going near Dandy again."
"But..."
"I know, Astro. He's not the same, okay?"
"I can't..." I whispered, feeling a tear roll down my face.
"Then... You do you. The next best thing would be telling him. Tell him how you feel, about everything. If he doesn't understand, he's not worth it."
I looked down. Was that the answer? Did i have the bravery to tell Dandy? Especially after what happened yesterday?
