DANDY'S POV
How could i. I'm... I really am a monster. I lost control. I didn't think they'd find the tape... I didn't think they'd successfully exorcise the Ichor's power. Ugh...
I lost all the power i had. The tapes are now worthless. The Ichor is too. And, i lost Astro.
It's all MY fault.
I gatekept it all. I should've told them the truth. Now, I'm never getting my "happy ending" i always wanted.
I dug my own grave, knowing very well what would happen. I don't know why i believed it'd never happen.
I began crying harder and crossed my arms, squeezing them so hard i felt excruciating pain.
"I'M AN IDIOT! FUCKING IDIOT!" i screamed as i pulled on one of my petals till it ripped off, my Ichor puddling under me.
In anger, guilt and sadness, i punched a wall, leaving a large crack in it and ichor from my fist splashing everywhere. I punched it again, and again...
I felt dizzy. Probably from Ichor loss.
I tripped back, catching my balance on a nightstand.
One of my lit lanterns fell off and broke.
It unfortunately fell right on a small carpet, the fire spreading rapidly.
Great. I killed Astro and now I'll permanently kill everyone with this fire.
I have to at least warn them...
I got up slowly, picking up Astro's body with the little strength i had left. I walked slowly till i got to the main entrance, where all the other toons were.
"Guys... Fire...!" I tried to shout faintly.
"Haha, no. We aren't listening to you anymore. You're powerless now." Said Shrimpo.
Teagan tossed the golden tape towards me, it fell on the floor between us. It was completely shattered.
"Run away, please! You'll die otherwise!" I attempted to shout again, but i partially lost my voice from shouting earlier.
"Ah... Well... We don't want to do what you say anymore. " Said Goob, reluctantly.
"Seriously, Goob? You too?!" I exclaimed, trying to drag Astro away from danger.
"Astro's dead?!" Asked Vee, running towards him the moment she saw him.
I got slapped away by Vee, who already began crying digital tears.
"Why... Why didn't you check if he was okay?! WHY DIDN'T YOU CHECK BEFORE DOING THE RITUAL?!" screamed Vee, with Shelly quickly coming to comfort her.
"I..." I began speaking but instantly got interrupted by Teagan:
"I think you've done enough, Dandy. Leave."
I looked up to her with pleading eyes, but then walked away as i saw everyone was angry at me. I began crying again. I saw the flames spreading in the distance.
I walked towards them. Slowly, i was nearly completely surrounded by flames. Their warmth and soft crackle somewhat began feeling comforting. I knew it was time to end it all.
I reached a hand towards the flames. Even though i wasn't touching them, they burned so hard my entire body was struck by an intense pain.
"It's time for my sweet relief, isn't it?" I spoke softly to myself.
