Sam
He felt so stupid, he should've talked to her. Ever since he first saw her, he was attracted to her, and he thought of at least talking to her, but then he felt like he was betraying celeana for some reason. He had faked his death for Celeana as much for his own freedom. He knew she thought he was dead, he had gone to every means necessary to make her believe it, he knew it would break her, but he didnt have a choice. So seeing Gwenyth and feeling attracted to her, felt like a betrayal. The more he thought about it, it shouldn't feel that way, he had no intention of going back to the continent, let alone Rifthold.
He had come so close on that rooftop, so close to ask her out. After their conversation on the roof, if you can even call it that, he felt a pull to her, he couldn't explain it. Maybe it was because she spoke his language, maybe it was just that he hadn't even though about someone appart from Celeana in a long long time, but he felt it. And instead of talking more to her, he had left the silence reign between them, and after he didn't even ask to help her get home, not that she needed it, he didn't even turn around to see her go, he just walked away.

This chapter is coming out earlier for it being so short. Hopefully the next one will come out as planned.
