2 weeks later

Finn's pov

I haven't talked to Rachel for a few weeks.

I walked into school, to see Rachel holding hands with Jessie St. James.

JESSIE ST. JAMES!

I walked up to them and tapped Rachel's shoulder.

Rachel- hey Finn, what's up?

I shot a dirty look to Jessie and took Rachel to the side.

Me- are you seriously dating Jessie?

Rachel just stared at me.

Rachel- yes I am, and you don't have a say in who I date. I've forgiven Jessie for what he did. We talked it out, and he regrets what he did.

I shook my head, running off, kicking a chair on the way.

Rachel's pov

I watched Finn run off, kicking a chair.

I glanced at Jessie, smiling happily.

Jessie- what is his problem?

I looked at the floor, knowing exactly why he was mad.

Me- I... I don't know. He's probably having a bad day. I gotta get to class, love you.

I kissed Jessie on the cheek and ran off to class.

Jessie's pov

Finn was getting in the way of my relationship with Rachel. I knew he would try his best to make her remember their relationship.

I walked up to Finn after class.

Me- stay away from Rachel.

Finn- no, we are friends and she will remember us.

Me- let it go, you guys are history.

Finn shook his head and walked to glee.

Rachel's pov

I walked into the choir room and sat down.

Mr. Shue- I know that this week has been very hard for some of you, so this week will once again be duets.
We will be picking names out of a hat, and the winning pair is singing a duet for regionals.

Duet pairs
Jessie and Quinn
Puck an Tina
Artie and Brittany
Santana and mike
Kurt and Blaine
Finn and Rachel

I glanced at Finn, then Jessie, then back to Finn.

Jessie raised his hand, a look of anger on his face.
Mr. Shue- yes Jessie.

Jessie- it's not appropriate for Finn and Rachel to sing a duet.

Mr. Shue- I see your concerns, but Finn and Rachel are doing a duet and that's final.

Jessie glared at mr. Shue and Finn.

Mr. Shue- class dismissed. Finn and Rachel will present their duet tomorrow.

I rushed out of class, Jessie at my heels.

Jessie- you can't do a duet with him! It's inappropriate!

I rolled my eyes and stopped, facing Jessie.

Me- ya know what?! I can do a duet with him! You don't have a say in this!

I turned away and stormed off, in search of Finn.
I found Finn at his locker, grabbing his books.

Me- meet me in the auditorium, now!

Finn nodded and followed me.

Finn- why did you want me to meet you here?

Me- because we are winning that duet.

Finn- oh, what song should we sing.

Me- I was thinking pretending? It's a great song.

Finn- oh okay.

We practiced for a few hours.

Finn- can we take a break?

I nodded and we sat on the edge of the stage, our feet hanging off the edge.

Finn- can I ask you something?

Me- sure.

Finn- why Jessie? Why couldn't you have dated Artie or Sam or puck even.

I sighed and shook my head.
Tears streamed out of my eyes.

Me- I don't know. I really don't know.

Finn- I think I do...

His voice trailed off. He leaned closer to me, I leaned closer to him. Our lips touched, and everything came back to me.

Me- you can kiss me if you want to.

Finn looked at me confused.

Me- that's what I told you when we had our first kiss. You broke up with me because Quinn kissed you and you feel guilty. I love you, your the one.

Finn stared at me, tears in his eyes.
He picked me up, spinning me around, colliding his lips with mine.

Finn- you remember! I love you Rachel Barbra berry!

I began crying as well.

Me- I have to break up with Jessie.

Finn- or we could share a very passionate kiss after our duet tomorrow...

Me- of course.

I kissed Finn once again.

The bell rang and Finn brought me home.

Me- we have a movie marathon to finish.

Finn smirked and sat on the couch.

Next day

Finn's pov

Rachel and I walked into glee.

We sang our duet, then kissed at the end.

Jessie stood up, and rushed towards me.
I grabbed Rachel and spun her out of the way.

Mr. Shue- Jessie! Sit down!

Jessie glared at mr. Shue and sat down.

Tina- are you and Rachel back together?

Rachel looked at me, smiling.

Rachel- yes, and we have never been stronger.

I interlocked my fingers with Rachel's, kissing her on the head.

We sat down and glee club continued.
