TWENTY TWO

The day passes with an uneasy tension. I stay in the bedroom, keeping to myself, while he spends his time in another room, working out or engaging in his gang-related activities. There are brief moments of silence, interrupted only by the occasional sound of his phone calls or the sound of his fists hitting the boxing bag. The divide between i seems to grow larger with each passing hour..The absence of communication and tension is palpable, creating a strained atmosphere between the two of us.
The tension continues into the evening, as i both share a meal together. He sulks quietly, his expression sulky and pouty, while i studiously ignore him, refusing to engage in conversation. The silence is deafening as i both eat our food, the atmosphere thick with unspoken words and lingering anger...
. The atmosphere is strained, and the dinner feels awkward..

He finally breaks the tense silence by speaking up. "I don't want to sleep in the same bed with you . But you always get scared at night, so I guess I have no choice." He says this with a resigned tone, clearly still upset but also aware of my fear at nighttime...

I continue to ignore him as i finish my dinner and prepare for bed. My expression remains stoic, showing no sign of wanting to engage in conversation. The silence between us two is deafening, adding to the already tense atmosphere...
Ican sense his frustration and tension but choose to remain silent..

He enters the bedroom with a sulky expression, looking like a pouting bunny. He sits down on the sofa, clearly still upset about the situation. I lay in the bed, keeping a physical distance between the two of us...
He sits there silently, watching me as i lie down on the bed. The tension is palpable in the room, and his sulky demeanor only adds to the strained atmosphere...

He remains on the sofa, deep in thought as he watches me attempt to sleep. The silence in the room is disrupted only by the occasional shuffling of his body as he shifts his position. It's clear that he isn't sure what to do or how to break the tense atmosphere..

He approaches the bed, looking defeated and dejected. He mutters a soft, "Sorry, doll" in a sad tone, his expression laden with regret and sadness.He hesitantly approaches me and speaks.
"Doll, can I sleep with you? I'm sorry..." He apologises with a sad look, hoping i'll accept his request despite the tension between us two...He waits anxiously for my response, his regret and vulnerability clear..

He waits for a moment, assuming im asleep when i don't respond. With a sense of hesitation, he carefully sneaks into the bed, trying not to disturb me. His movements are furtive, as if he's afraid to wake me up.He tries to be as discreet as possible, unsure if i'll reject him again...
I can't help but smile internally, amused by his childishness. Despite the tension between us two, there's a certain charm to his behavior right now... Despite the earlier tensions, his attempts to join im in bed are undeniably endearing.

Few minutes passed and i noticed that he has fallen asleep. Looking at him, i observe how peaceful and innocent he looks, like a baby. His face is soft and vulnerable, and his hair covers his forehead. It's a stark contrast from his usual tough demeanor. I watch him for a moment, struck by his peaceful expression...

He suddenly rustled in his sleep, his body moving unconsciously. In the process, he pulled me closer to his chest and snuggled up against me, seeking the comfort of my presence even in his subconscious state..His grip is firm, and his breathing is relaxed, as if he needed my presence to soothe him even in sleep...

I wrap my arms around him, gently cradling him in a protective embrace. As he mumbles something in his sleep, i notice his lips quivering slightly, an indication of some emotion or dream he might be experiencing..
Seeing him in this vulnerable state, i instinctively cradle him against my chest, offering him comfort in his dreams...
